I think some of the cars were actually real, and were custom-built for the movie.

Though yes, suspension of disbelief is difficult when you see a huge Rolls counterflowing down the racetrack at breakneck speed without exchanging paint with any of the cars.

I agree Don Cheadle did not fit the part well at all and I just did not like the fact that he jumped right into the suit and had no problems at all with it. That really bothered me big time about this movie.
