But you're a pro driver so don't you wanna race with your division? I'd rather get an Am driver to volunteer if possible but either way nothing changes too much. You still get 20 minutes to qualify

Option A
8:30 - 8:50: Practice
8:50 - 9:10: Qualifying
9:15 - 10:45: Race

Option B
8:00 - 8:30: Practice
8:30 - 8:50: Qualifying
9:00-10:30: Race

I can do either one, but if some people can't start as early as 8:30 we'll do Option A. It seems that most people don't care to join practice and hop in as qualifying is about to start or soon after. I'd still like some lobby time before qualifying starts to give people a chance to work out issues before we start the night proper when everything counts.

what happened to these times? 9:30 is too late to start. ARL Wildcard race starts at 11:00pm eastern! Wildcards start on time. If we have to do 9:30 start I may have to seriously consider dropping the league.

Those times were brought up with no one saying they actually needed them just that it wouldn't hurt. Considering most people said the normal times are fine we stuck with them. This crossover with Rinsky is only once so it's not that bad. Going back to work so can't reply 'til later

It’s an exhibition, it doesn’t matter who I race with, I was just giving an option so that everything runs normally. Obviously I won’t be able to do this in the real season.

option a : this sat i go to the doctors

either works for me, because of ARL.

As long as the dates don't clash with anything, I'm actually fine with either time schedule.

Either time option works for me. Signed up btw.

I noticed in the car regs that the M6 is specific. Does it matter whether the Walkenhorst or the M-Power version is used, since they are the same besides visual differences?

@DesertPenguin btw my vote for scheduling is the later one, Option A.

we all expected one of the two options. I also know @Herimopp89 had asked for a 15 minute window. You offered a 15 minute window as well as a 30 minute window. When those are offered it’s assumed that it’ll be either one of those 2 not a completely different time frame. This just isn’t right.

I was under the impression that we were starting earlier this season for this series? I will have to drop out when ARL starts the next season on February 20. Sorry, I didn't realize the schedule conflict till now.

There's no schedule conflict. It's been set up so that this race ends when ARL qualifying begins and then you jump over there. This was known all along.

I apologize. I was under the impression from the responses and the way I worded the initial post that it was nothing confirmed to change. It's a shame you guys aren't realizing this until right now but we'll sort it out. Gimme a minute. Just walked in the door.

So of the few people that specified an option they chose Option A. We will use that, but this means anyone who is also doing Rinsky's race will have less time to qualify here. It doesn't matter tonight since no points but it will matter for the February 1st race.

I realised this when I brought it up....i am not trying to be a dick by bringing this up. But it is what it is

You're not being a dick, no worries.

I realized the conflict which is why I was under the impression option A OR option B are the two possible options. So I went through with the sign ups. But thank you for pushing this up, it’s in the best interest for all parties involved.

When I first read this I actually didn't even see the Wildcard bit. I was checking it on my phone while trying to hide it from my boss and just skimmed quickly. My bad.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer.

This is the format we will be using tonight and for the rest of the season:

8:30 - 8:50: Practice
8:50 - 9:10: Qualifying
9:15 - 10:45: Race

Please be ready and in the room by 9:00 the latest. If you fail to qualify you will start at the rear in the order you joined the room.

@GTPvw_slc Are you racing tonight? You're on the list, but we don't have a driver ranking for you yet. For tonight, please join the Am Division lobby hosted by me. We will get you sorted after the race.

These times are in EST, correct?

Correct. I will also have a party chat open for the Am Division so we can all get some banter going. Should be a fun relaxed night of racing.

Speaking of fun and this being an Exhibition Race, I am going to put damage on Light. You will still receive damage from an incident that would give you heavy damage, but it will go away after about 30 seconds. The damage will be done to your pace/track position but you can come back and keep racing. This way you know what's considered a hard enough hit to cause damage and can work on minimizing that in a real scenario so the damage is mitigated. I'd hate for a practice event to be ruined by a single incident forcing someone to pit and spend 90 minutes by themselves.

I’m Porsche too
You have not responded to the thread all week, and have not submitted a full registration form. Are you planning on racing in this series? Please inform me as soon as possible so I can free up the position if need be.

It's more difficult to acquire mechanical damage when it's set to light when compared to heavy.

C'mon seriously? I was unaware of this. It's still a good idea for an Exhibition Race though. No need to have it ruined when it doesn't count in the first place.

@TetsuKobura Ace has informed me that he may not be feeling up to racing tonight, so be ready to host if that happens. I guess he's still getting over that illness.

I plan on racing. I chose the Lexus for tonight. Just clarifying that's okay. Do I need a livery or anything? Just curious. I wont have time. I gotta purchase the car and was just going to put a number on her. See yas soon

You're good with Lexus, taking the last one actually. There's also no problem with a livery tonight. If you have time to throw a number on can you also get the required decals? The car can be a solid color, that's fine
