Gran turismo is a game, but at some point you're no longer winning races for thrill's sake you're sitting there saying "when will this be over so I can win a car i'll never drive more than 3 times I just wanted it cause it looked good"

No! I paid money to play it, not get paid to play it.

I think it's more of a an "adventure."

Note: Stupid old Army ad slogan.

If it feels like a job, or if you're asking "when will this be over", then I respectfully submit you should be playing something else. Try our PS2 or Gaming In General forums.

its more like an accomplishment you can add to your video game trophy cabinet. it DOES NOT look good on a college APP.

I wish. I'm unemployed - I could do with the money.

Hours per week working = 55
Hours per week GT3ing = 4

GT3 a job? Most definately not. GT3 as a way to relieve the stresses of a job? Most definately, yes. GT3 is nothing more than a very good racing game. Although I'd like to get paid to play it;)

Welcome to

by the way

GT3 is a game. Like Neon_Duke said, if you are playing and you are thinking about when the race will be over, you shouldn't play it. I enjoy every bit of GT3, although sometimes I do want to get a race over with so I can find out what car I won. That doesn't mean I don't like the race, though.

if GT3 was a job, i would be rich...HAHAHA......stinking rich i tells ya:lol:

Well it's official, I shouldn't be playing GT3 because I'm too busy waiting for the race to be over, i mean I must be crazy to not enjoy racing the same series race 12 times to get one car. Or driving a stock miata around midfeild for an hour and change, that is my NEW idea of stress release right there.

i dont think its a job till u get to the pro challenges cause the races just drag on like a job but they have to been done to get to the cool cars that you'll will only drive twice.:banghead:

Is grang turismo more of a job than game? Never heard of it

Nor this one either. . . Really

Proffesion League is way to far. 10-20 Lap races are completely Bull. How do you expect to last through it. I definatly cannot. So I just start over again.

well super supra... i run the pro races cuase it gives me a thrill to almost not win... cause its a lesson in consistency... and they are fun... but i do it only in cars i really like

It was a job for me once, when i was in an online comp in which the winner at the end would recieve 100 bucks, which i was :p and i'll be damned, the guy actually sent me 100 bucks for winning! So yes, it was a job that one time. But overall, its a game...a game that consumes more of my free time then i'd like to admit :)

Back on-topic please...

No, it's not a job. If you think it's a job, and you're just waiting for the races to end, then I would suggest you're using the wrong car, and you're blasting around 40 seconds in the lead. Try matching yourself to the competition a bit more, and enjoy the actual racing.

I've only got TT10 to go until I'm at 100%, by which time GT4 will be out.

My thoughts exactly. (Although, change 55 to 54!) It's tougher to play on a limited budget of time, although I go home on lunch breaks.

Fabisham.

10 to 20 laps is where it just starts to get interesting. 3-lap or 5-lap sprints are just popcorn; I like a heartier meal when I sit down. I really like the Enduros too.

It's not the length of races, but the length of the series that makes things troublesome.
