Is GT Academy still open?

Just dusted off the PS3 and started playing again. Am I still able to play GT Academy or has it closed? I've loaded 70% of the GT Academy download, and I'm going to be pretty upset if I can't do anything on it!

You can still play it, but the ranking is closed. its fun to see what times you can get against your friends

From what i understand you can still get the prize cars until January 2013 if i recall (someone correct me if im wrong)

the first 7 are worth getting if you want them, they are supposed to be distributed on the 4th

I completed rounds 6,7, and 8 after the competition had ended and each time after I finished the 5th event of a round it said congratulations you have won xxx car. Hopefully it was correct and those of us who completed it afterwards do get the cars also.

Wrong, go and try you will get a window pop up telling you your time will not be loaded or recorded before you go on track if you do enter your time wont even show on the leader or frinds boards.
