Is gt5 drifting scene dead?

I was just wondering that after gt6 arrival the gt5 forums have almost stopped completely. Has the VDC moved to gt6 or is it abandoned and what about the teams?

VDC Season 5 was hosted on GT6.
Far as the teams, they have also moved to GT6.

I wouldn't say GT5 part is completely dead I know a few people who still play on there. But the majority of teams and competitions have moved

The GT5 drifting scene may be back from the dead thanks to the LAN mod with XlinKai. Me and 2 other friends did some drifting earlier today. Lobbies with up to 16 people are possible as long as enough are interested. The potential is there!
