Is GTP being worked on?

I've been browsing for about an hour, since 12:20 AM or so, and I haven't had any trouble yet. Everything is loading as usual.

this is weird, it's still going slow, even the site must be confused:

What's going on? there is only 1 person online:lol:

i thought it was whose going on?, Jordan must've changed it when the site got slow

i know it's got something to do with the guides after the error about the "My SLQ server" thingy, so the problem is slightly solved:)

Nope, it's always been "What's going on?". "Whose going on?" doesn't make too much sense anyway.

When the database crashes, the sessions table is cleared, thus the site will show that no users are online until they reload a page. It's nothing to get really upset about.

In regards to these issues which keep occurring , the guys I have hired believe this problem goes much deeper in our server than originally anticipated, and they will be making a few configuration changes. Expect to see a few more problems over the next few days until we get this settled once and for all.

I apologize for the extended downtime, everyone. Let's hope these errors don't resurface again.

I'm getting many "V database error"'s while switching from thread to thread, as long as I reroute to the home page, than message boards, than forum, than subforum it works o.k. hitting the back button gives the error 1/2 the time. All is good as I can still navigate but it's a pain none the less.

Hope it's all resolved soon.

They were back this morning, about 8 hours ago or so, but it has been fine since until now. Either pages are loading blankly or they are Database Errors.

The problems did return after the downtime, but so far we have spent most of the afternoon error-free. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath. Please let me know if you find anything out of place.

For about an hour after the site went back up again after the "doing something to the database" downtime, GTP was VERY slow. It's fine now though.

I've been getting a lot of vB database errors of late, and experienced total thread inaccessibility once - namely, November 23rd at 1700GMT, I could view everything, including forum thread lists, but not actual threads. Everything is working smoothly now though.

Thanks for dealing with it swiftly, Jordan :)

Thanks guys, I know how bad the problems have been recently - that's what I spent the past two days trying to fix. Please only report problems that you've experienced since I posted my last message above this one. Thanks! :)
