Is GTPlanets focus still towards Gran Turismo or is it more GTA or photoshopping or motorsport? Should GTP have a new name or aim?

Just a query and yeh! my 1000 post woohooo!

:frcracker :Present:

No, but when GT4 comes out, everybody will be focused on that, as opposed to GTA or 'shopping. When GT3 came out, everybody was interested, everyone asked questions. Now every question has been answered (some twice) and the hype has died down. When GT4 comes out the hype will come back.

All very true! Most of the other games that are talked about are side tracks from everyones favourite GT!

GT doesn't necassarily reduce it to the GranTurismo video game series. It could be GT class automobiles planet.

And congrats on the 1000+ posts. Feels good to set your own 'title' doesn't it?

Very good to have your own title! Well worth the posts!

The website's main focus is Gran Turismo, but as always, the most popular topic in the forums is always changing.

I actually kept this in mind when naming the site. :)

Nice Job Jordan...

Gran Turismo is always one of the main focuses here at GTP. As long as new GTs keep coming out GTP will stay alive.

And if GT stops coming out, we'll have to change it to GTAPlanet. :D

Or Rumble Strip Planet.

But I think the main draw is the GT video game series, arguably the most popular racing games of all time. People come here to get a set-up tip, a prize car list, or some hints on winning aparticular race, a gameshark code, etc.

I think the rest is what community is all about; sharing ideas, voicing opinions, and having a laugh.

The aim is GT first; there are dedicated GTA, Photoshop, sports, racing, and chit-chat forums everywhere else.

Hmm, you guys missed the point. GT stands for GT class automobiles, not GranTurismo. Even if Gran Turismo did fade away, the name of the GTP wouldnt change, im sure.

Read posts, people! Its good for you. :p

A lot of folk don't realise that Gran Turismo is really pronounced 'Gron Tworeemo' (say 'Graun Ter/ree/mow').

Hmmmmm Is it French or Italian? Or something completely different?

We all came for Gran Tourismo, but we stayed for the pie. ;)
