The sounds are enhanced in replay. So if you were watching a past race that pretty much answers your question. But if you thought the sounds were suddenly better than last time in the middle of a race, it's your imagination.

Car sounds MUCH BETTER when you turn off BGM. 👍 You can really hear a lot of stuff.

I love the fact that PD is changing things like sound and possibly physics but I wish they would mention what exactly they changed. I guess they want to see if people notice?
