Is it true you can no longer adjust individual ratios? Or is it a level thing?
I just found this out today, really changed my outlook on how to spend my money on upgrades.
I have stopped playing the game completely until I have an answer to this - if its removed from the game I will just sell the game and maybe get it latter if its patched latter
*facepalm*
Sorta makes the real racing simulator feel less real.
The UI is too good for it only to allow the adjust of top speed. You can clearly see the cogs(?) for adjusting each item. Maybe you have to be a certain level to unlock this.

Part of DRIVING and RACING is the CAR ITSELF. Being able to SET THE CAR UP IN DETAIL is CRUCIAL, and has been AN INTEGRAL PART OF GRAN TURISMO SINCE 1997.
Anybody who says "it's not a tuning simulator, it's a driving simulator" is full of ish. A lack of customization is one thing, but a lack of key tuning elements is inexcusable. That's actually a deal breaker for me, because that's all I do with GT: buy favorite cars and play with the tuning, making and breaking lap records. GT4 is pretty decent with that but was also somewhat limited; at least being able to tweak gearing precisely was there, that can affect the performance of many cars alone in a significant way.
I REALLY hope they fix this.
- Agreed. If your game is chasing world class lap times then a gearbox that it fully tailored to the circuit you're on is essential.
