It's undoubtedly doable, just make sure you have a good enough driver and/or car. Around 6000 points should give you a good starting point.

Take a Ford GT or a Pagani Zonda (or any other eligible supercar) and tune it to around 600-700 bhp. Buy upgraded suspension if you like, replacing the gearbox isn't necessary. Lighten the car if you want to. The tuning isn't so important as the B-Spec Botcher runs well on default settings. Put on hard or medium Sports Tyres (depending on the track) and set the pace on 3, overtake. Lower the pace if the driver seems to be having trouble, he'll take back on the straights what he loses in the corners.

This is what I would do, I'm not sure if it works but the opponents should be crushed quite easily. :)

every race except for the Special Stages (rally) are doable with B-Spec

I hate "B-Spec Bob." I'd rather call the B-Spec driver my teammate. I usually say that the Supercar Festival isn't a very fun series because high horsepower on Standard or Sports tires equals a pure nightmare. It gets worse when you add power because you then have to tune for better handling to go with the hp gains. All in all, it makes things tougher. What I can tell you is that the Supercar Festival is certainly doable. Give the B-Spec racer a nicely-tuned car, control his/her pace, overtake when you have to, and improvise when things get dicey. I think a car I had the best luck with was the Callaway C12, a beautiful American automobile based on the lovely Corvette C5. I wanted to make that my personal race car, but I ended up selling it after being rather frustrated with the car. I even completed the series with the 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10. I may do a one-off run with a Saleen S7 to see if my S7 can get her done.

So yeah. Use B-Spec if you wish. Just tune the car up really nice and make the most of each oppurtunity you get. You dig me, "nunji?" Now go make it happen, player.

That's what I'm doing.

Using ford GT 05 700bhp, suspension & everything..
my driver has +7100 bspec pts
pace 3 + overtake
but I always seem to get 2nd, 1st is always 500-1000ft+ upfront
I'm using duck's settings

yes, I searched for threads this time.

If yes, what car, what setup, tune?
And pace @ ?

You did?

I just search using the words b-spec and supercar and got this thread

Supercar Festival

Which has nine pages dedicated to the subject and it starts off with the question of which car to use to b-spec it.

I strongly sugest you read that thread first and if you still need to ask a question then please do so in that thread (thread resurection is encouraged heere at GTP - its saves asking the same questions again).

Once again - thread closed.
