Well, in the beginning of the game its some what worth something.

But I have one in my garage with 0.0 miles. Never drove it.

But otherwise. Its worthless.

Yeah, it's not worth the money at all. The handling is OK, but it's underpowered, and the stock transmission stinks one ice - third worst behind the RX-8 and the Vitz/Yaris. The gear spacing is terrible.

Welcome to GTPlanet, lambo_m62. I used to live in the CWE just north of Forest Park!

They're both good cars with horrible transmissions. The RX-8 has NO correct gear for any corner, ever, on any track. It's always too tall or too short.

Maybe if you want to hybrid it, it might be worth something, but otherwise, no.

I don't recall precisely - having driven it only once - but I seem to remember that if you wish to change the wheels on the BMW, you're going to have to hybrid it.

Hateful vehicle.

Actually it does at the test course.HAHA you got OWNED!!!

 J/K

The lack of power can be solved by upgrading the car, but I'll become too expensive for what it is capable of. I got one but I only drive it in arcade mode, never for races.

Then Buy A Trannsmission.

If you have a small number of credits do not get the BMW.
If you have a lot of credits buy it and spend 150,000 to tune it up.
Goes good once you spend lots on it.

I'd always take any car above a boring BMW ... I don't like them ... never have never will ...

The Audi S4 is a much better car than the 328i ... although in a different league as well ...

As for the M3 ... I would like to beat it with my Civic Type-R !!!

I think it's worth buying the BMW just to have it in your garage, but strangely it's one of the worst you can buy in their vast range of top quality cars. What about the M3,Z4 and executive line of cars?

Yeah that BMW stunk, It was way too expensive. If you don't have much cash buy a miata. You can tune it to beat vettes.

Apparently the Z4 has one of the crappiest gearboxes on the planet ... according to Jeremy Clarkson ... who does not actually have anything good to say about any car ...

As for the M3 ... I would always take a Porsche or somethin' above a BMW ... just too much 3 series on the roads for my liking ... and these days a M3 SMG is the same price as a freakin 911 !

I dont think all the 3 series you see on the road are M3 's. Most of them are 318i 's which cost a lot less than a Porsche.

Also what does this have to do about the BMW in the game of GT3?

The M3 is an awesome car.

I know, but the M3 is still a 3 series, and to see a 318 around every corner makes me want to puke ... I'm not a BMW fan, and will never be ... so let's leave it at that then.

I know the M3 is awesome (I don't care), but there are 1000 awesome cars in this world ... which I would rather have.

Ok, I won't say anything again.

Yeah, I can't wait for the BMW's in GT4. They'll get some of the respect they deserve. I mean they're great machines, but in GT3 it was not enough bang for the buck **credit** . Okay, I know you have no affection or care at all to the BMW but please don't diss em or anything. I don't appreciate that. My bro drives a rare Avus Blue 318ti, and I love it to death. Sure..it's not exactly the fastest (almost best handling back in 1998), but hey that thing will last FOREVER the way it's bein taken care of. Don't forget....A fast car isn't always a fun car. Not flaming here.....just makin a statement.

I actually kinda like it. I built one up in the absence of the DTM M3 GTR and it won the Amateur series, a challenge with only 465 (?) horsepower. Quite fun, but I wouldn't advise it for the PD Cup with the pwr/weight ratio in the 7's.

What GT4 needs to do is bring back the first generation BMW M3, the E30. The super light, lower horsepower m3. Plus it looks the best out of all the gens.

i love the little car, i've been at 100% for a while now n i just plzy for the fun of driving, i love to drive it, great handling, decent power. i wouldn't recomend buying car to use it as a main car, the value just isnt there, but when you've got millions of dollars $40k dont mean ****
