Hi everyone,

I am currently saving credits to buy this car but would like to know if it's worth the price.
Are dashboard, engine sound, handling, ... ok?

Among "expensive" cars I already bought the Veyron and was a bit disappointed, and the 288 GTO which rev counter does not work, I am waiting for a patch since I drive only in cockpit view with no HUD

Thanks to 250 GT owners for their feedback

Really depends what sort of cars you enjoy driving.

The 250GT SWB isn't fast, and like most cars, the sound is not realistic. And I only use bumper cam, so I can't advise on the cockpit side.

Where it excels is in the handling... on comfort tyres it's absolutely lovely. It's got a very nice balance, and can be driven on the throttle ie; easing the gas makes the nose tuck in, adding gas makes the rear slide... and it's a very progressive slider :)

It's the sort of car I like to drive, but if you want something fast, or something to race on line it's probably no the car for you.

ok that is good for me; I love old cars and am not into fast and furious :)

For example I really like the toyota 2000gt '67: rather cheap, great sound, lovely wooden dashboard, and the km counter actually works!

thank you

I hate it!
Biggest waste of 7.5m yet.

I am a massive Ferrari fan and saved for ages to get it.
I thought the handling was really boring, really slow too.

Very disappointed, save an extra 2.5 and get the far better Alfa Romeo TZ2

Toyota 2000GT is fantastic! ^

Do you own it? How is it compared to the one in GT5? I absolutely loved it there. It was almost OP (in its PP range and age) and very fun.

No i haven't got the Alfa, wasted my money on this Ferrari.
I too loved it in GT5!

I'm just trying the Ferrari again now to see if its as bad as i remember.
The sound is awful too but no surprises there.

Edit2, Well, i am driving it on Bathurst and it is actually quite good, the sound is nice too!
I don't know if it changed in an update because i hated it before.
Still no where near as good as the Alfa but its good.
Worst thing about it is the top speed, bouncing off the limiter at 127mph 4th gear. Zzzzz

Buy the 365 GTB 4. It is very well mannered and performs very well also.

I already own the 365 GTB, it is very good indeed for the price but not as "sexy" as the 250 GT :)

@phil_75 perhaps regarding the 7.5m you were expecting something astonishing and were disapointed the first time

Depends on many factors. But if you're a car history buff like me, you can't really not buy it. It's a beautiful car, and it's modeled in exquisite detail too.

Besides, you aren't going to beat any record with it, but it's a wonderful car for joyriding. Can't wait to see how it does in the hills around me when the GPS course creator comes out.

I would buy it. It an absolute beast in the 425 to 450 pp range... Especially on short tracks. I have one and rarely lose with it.

i have it; i love it ; id sell my RB anytime if they had more like these ;) its, after the M3 E46 ( lol avatar ), the car on wich i have the most miles. that and the GTO. i manage to keep up with 570+ PP with it in a 530pp config .... not that fast but hell it can corner well.

Yup, she's a looker, I was saving for the GTO and got bored so I purchased the GT instead...

Well, the 250GT's good enough to win the S Class race '10 Laps of Ascari'(payout 466,000), but then again, most performance road cars are! I have one, sprayed Ferrari white, with blacked out cross spoked wheels. BEAUTIFUL...

It's worth it just for the sheer beauty of the car

Absolutely. I love driving the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta as well as the other classics, such fun to drive. I make my cash replaying the RB Championship, Standard X1, not Junior. Pay out is 200,000Cr+ per race, takes a few minutes to complete each race and a 1,000,000Cr bonus at the end for winning it.

Awesome car, looks really sexy with the wire rims, with a 5 speed, it's really fun to drive, runs the ring like a champ as well, worth the 7.5 mil for sure
