Is the Formula GT faster than a Ferrari F7 or F10

Any input would be great, was gonna save up and get an F7 to do the silly online Ferrari races.

Those are the races iwe had most fun with in all single player mode of GT5.

The F7 & F10 are much easyer to handle than the FGT.

Eventually you are going to need them both if you plan on doing the Extreme event in A spec, as well as the seasonals.

I hadn't gotten a chance to purchase a Ferrari F7 or F10, but I borrowed a friend's online one and went into the Ferrari F1 Seasonals last night.

Holy Shnikes, that F10 was a monster. It felt much quicker and way more stable than the FGT to me. I did the Tokyo course and the last one and that car churned up the corners with ease. With the FGT, I'm still struggling to finish the FGT Championship, lol. It's mostly due to my need to practice with the FGT and get a stable tune on it for my driving skills on a DS3, but I just jumped in the F10 and it was insanely fast and agile. 👍

I'll have to give the F7 a go tonight, too.

I wish we could get F1 cars from other teams and/or more realistic F1 to make our own. X2010 is so extreme as a what if it makes the FGT a bit useless.

There existed other technical rules about F1's max width back then (until V8s for sure). Anyone remember the battle Senna vs Mansell when Mansell couldn't pass because of the wider McLaren of Senna (2.2m I think)?

By the way, Ardius I liked your thoughts above about FGT's roots.

The Formula GT is quite a bit faster I'm sure then both Ferrari's, it's just most people can't control it. Also, I think the F10 is faster then the F2007 but that maybe because I have a tune on both of them....

I've said it many times before. The FGT is quicker in a straight line and has a higher top speed, but has less than half the downforce of both Ferraris. It'll have it on the straights, but it simply cannot corner nearly as fast as either Ferrari. That, and the car has a serious handling imbalance, which makes it a grueling task to drive fast anyway.

The Ferraris are a toss up. The F2007 is easier to get max potential out of, so is usually faster, but lacks mechanical grip compared to the F10, so the advantage will seesaw between each car depending on the track characteristics.

FGT is a lot harder to use so say they were the same, you'd be guaranteed to make more mistakes in the FGT then the Ferrari's.

The GT is faster at 220 stock, 240 tuned. The f2007 Is at 210-215 stock and 220 tuned, f10 200 to 210 tuned....the f10 has 725hp, 5 more than f2007, but f2007 lighter....even though u can't use them in aspec they are still much fun to drive, I bought the f7 then the f10 because it was fun

mechanical grip is the same but the 2009/+ cars just had a much bigger and lowered front wing and because the rear aero is very slippery once you start sliding on its rear then it snaps at medium/high speed corners , its a real racing car feel because those things aren't designed to be sometimes sliding and me usually in online races especially in Suzuka I'm actually 4 wheel drifting on the first sector but you cant really see it on replays or watching it , no one has every really done what i've done in the F10 because it has the pure racing car feel but still F2007 is faster by .500 seconds per lap in suzuka , D-UNEXPECTED uses a pad , AT and ABS and that's because there's sensitivity setting and that makes it steer where it wants to steer and if you try doing that on the F10 to just steer through the corners then the grass will make you go to the wall but if you have a steering wheel and an F2007 you won't do the same as someone who mastered a pad with sensitivity setting because a there's no shortened steering setting , you can't just really steer through the corners but I guess

The F2007 is so unbelievably easy because its aerodynamic regulations make it accessible and aided , with slick tyre's its the easiest of all with pad sensitivity.
