is the japanese motegi track the same as super speedway

It is very similar to the twin ring track, so I would say it could be. Here in the US theres a track that looks just like super speedway as well.

Not Darlington right? It's got the same shape but certainly not the same size.
 
yea there are a lot of tracks like that i think if it was that track the makers of gran turismo would have just named it motegi because they have other real tracks like laguna seca but they also have made up unrealistic ones like deep forest (which sucks) and super speedway seems like a made up name.
 
We talked about all this over here as well.

I believe GT3's Super Speedway is the actual Motegi course in Japan. It makes the most sense.
 
Some interesting stuff:
- Twin Ring Motegi is the name of the complex of tracks.
Super Speedway is the name of the oval track.
- Super Speedway is a track in the Honda Type R Cup. Honda owns Motegi. Their museum is there.

I say it's real.
