Is the price worth it???

The NSX-R car is worth every penny.
It owns the Type-R challenge.

The Spyker is also worth the penny as is the Zonda.
The Spyker is an acceleration machine and a handling machine.

The Zonda is awesome as well.

the Pagani Zonda is worth every penny I paid for it. (all 3 of them) Everydy we read from plenty of people who are complaining because of the lack of supercars in GT4 (Lambo, Ferrari, etc) Yet they complain after they pay alot of money for one of the premier supercars on the planet and don't know how to drive it.

Pagani Zonda (any one of them) = fantasticly good

*clap* *clap* *clap* :D

Truer words have never been spoken.

I've been looking and I just filled my garage with about 15 supercars, and I'm still missing 2 Zondas, the GT Concept, the Esprits, the Spirra... there are so many different high-powered road cars to try out in GT, it's mind-boggling.

Best bang for the buck? no compitition to the HPA R32 Golf, 530hp and 4wd for 31 grand?, best car

the amuse s2000 r1 is a very very fast car despite only having 270hp it can get around tsukuba in 1min 3 seconds with N2 tires. I think that qualifies as a fast car :)

Sorry, but I have to disagree about three "bad" choices:

1. Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car. You might think it's bad at first, but that's because its initial downforce isn't maxed out. Max it out and you've got a very nice car.
2. Acura NSX. It's bogus to say an NSX isn't worth the price.
3. Spyker C8. It's my favorite MR car and is especially fun to drift at El Capitan.

The only car that I thinck that is a waste of money is the 90' corvette zr-1 90,000cr !! come on you can buy a Z06 for a buttload cheaper plus the z06 is faster and better than the zr-1.

True, but I like the ZR-1. I have it in pretty much all colors. :dopey:

I'd have to agree the NSX isn't worth the money. If you can buy a car that costs half as much and is faster (Z06...even the GTO keeps up with it) why buy the more expensive car? This is excluding personal preference, taste or whatever else. If you love the NSX, you're gonna buy one whether it's faster or not ;) If I had $50k and was wondering whether I should buy a Vette now, or if I should save up another $30k for the NSX, what would your advice be? Go run the Sunday Cup 10 more times until I can afford a car that's no faster than the one I could buy now, and has less ultimate potential when fully tuned? The NSX isn't worth saving up for unless you really want one. I have quite a few, but I wouldn't buy one instead of a Vette if I could only afford one.

Oh, and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is odd, because it shows up in the lot and the little color swatch next to the name appears silver, but the color is actually white. So no, you can't get a silver one, only white (and green, and orange, and blue...). I have 5 or 6 of them :D

That car is a blast to drive. Looks pretty cool to. Has anyone driven the Citeza V16? I never have. Looks pretty cool with 4 headlights.

Its one of those cars that looks interesting on paper... but horrible in practice.
Its gotta be in the running as one of the worst handling cars in the game.
The first time i took it out i knew i was in trouble when the AI drove off-course on the formation lap.

Thank's a lot man, now i don't have to waste my life waiting for a color that will never appear. Guess i'll settle for green.

I think the Ford GT is a good buy, It is damn fast standard for a road car if driven properly. It does have bad brakes but you just allow for that when stoping.

Cizeta V16T is much better than the flak it gets from others in my honest opinion

others good buys,

Viper SRT 10
Corvette ZR-1
M3 GTR
R33 or R34 Skyline GTR
Honda NSX
Mazda RX7 (FD)
Aston Martin DB9
way too many to list

Bad
TVR Cerbera Speed twelve, Hard to drive due to excess wheelspin (havent tryied it with TCS and havent tryied tuning it yet also)
cant think of many

You can't buy an M3 GTR ;) And for the money you can get a lot faster car than an NSX or DB9. Although I agree the RX7 is a great buy, although a little low on horsepower.

Do you people think that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Super Rally car is worth Cr.1,250,000?

That's a really hard question to answer.

So, with respect to your question, your attitude and your previous thread (you know which)...

I'm gonna put out the effort to give you a full and honest opinion. 👍

Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car
1,250,000 Cr.
L4: DOHC
Displacement: 1996cc
Power: 295hp
Torque: 398ft.lb
1230kg
4 wheel drive

GT Mode
At the time of purchase the only availible upgrades are ...
Stage 3 & 4 turbo
Sports & Racing Intercoolers
Nitrous Oxide
Tires (all of them including dirt, snow, normal, sports, racing)
Increased Body Rigidity

After full power modification the total cost will be a large sum. :(
However,
594 hp
543 ft.lb torque
2.180 pwr

As for my driving impressions...
On Road
(tested at "the ring")
Acceleration and braking were both top notch.
Handling was great.
Turn-in under braking was easy but still remained stable.
Control during corner exiting was ample with only a slight hint of understeer.
Approximately 7000rpm redline + full power = Awesome Sound!
This car is fully capable of making positive contributions to your GT Mode experience.

Off Road
(tested at "swiss alps")
I'm not a good rallier in the dirt. :(
However, the car felt like I would expect a million Cr rally car to feel.
Shifts were fast and there were no signs of unusual behavior. 👍

Arcade Mode
Stock-
321 hp/ 1230 kg
Quick tuned ranges-
256 hp - 386 hp
1107 kg - 1353 kg
(adjustable top speed is availible)

On Road
(tested at "Costa di Amalfi")
(tested under full quick tuned settings +20% hp/ -10% kg)
As if this were a mirrored image of the GT mode, the arcade car is a pleasure to drive.
Shifts are still fast and crisp just like a rally car should be.
Accel, handling, braking, turn-in... All of them are excellent.
The sound of this car's exhaust is one that I like. :dopey:
This is definately a car I will drive again in arcade mode.

Off Road
(tested at "Chamonix")
(tested under stock power and weight settings)
As I said before, I'm bad with rally... that said...
On the snowy parts of the track this car was a perfectly tuned "fast twitch, easy sliding, short geared rally monster."
Not bad at all.
However, on the road, with snow tires and stock power... :(
Understeer became and issue and braking did not seem up to par.
This was some what frustrating because of my high expectations, but a more thurough review should be made by a rally driver before any definitive remarks can be made.

My Conclusions
If you are on a budget there may be better cars to purchase. The price tag on this rallier is hefty. However, earning back your money should be possible due to this car's ability to run in several series, not to mention its ability to sweep the special events hall.

As an Evo fan this is a must have.
As a 4wd touring/rally car fan this is an excellent choice.

I suggest buying this car if money is not an issue, or if you are an Evo fan.
However, if you are not particularly an Evo fan and you are short on cash, the new Subaru Impreza Rally Car may be the better choice (similar performance, 750,000 Cr price tag).

It's up to you. 👍
Good luck in your choices, I hope this reply helps.

great review :D

back to topic, i don't see why people dislike the speed 12. sure, it's not a handling monster, but it sure is FAST. Allow for it's quirks, and drive like you'd normally drive on city roads (about 3000 to 4000rpm ma) and you have a FAST and great-handling car. :D

i dislike cars which you can't even race with. such a waste of good money.

Maybe the standard NSX, but the NSX-R Concept and NSX-R are capable of faster times than the other road going Vettes.

The TVR Tamora is something that no one has mentioned as being a good car. It's about 75k and can enter the British GT Championship and can win it too. It has some good handling stock. The speed could be higher (157 just won't cut it on the straights) but then again I have only done a weight reduction so I really don't know.

The HPA is the best budget car in the game. For 31k this is a bargain, with 540 hp and sweet handling. Also, it can enter a few races.

Well i think the cobras worth getting. It's just a great car to drive. But i agree it's not good on the nurembourg. But then again i forgot to upgrade the brakes from stock.

Yeah, and then you look at the Proto Motors Spirra, not to mention a TVR and Lotus Esprits/Elises, and realize it is a car that will own the NSX-R anywheres and cost about the same. Then you see the RX-7 Spirit R and you see another car that can kill an NSX (in this case, a car that costs half as much money). Or maybe a RUF BTR? For $110,000+, it should go way faster than it does, the same holding true for all NSXs (barring maybe, the Type S Zero '97/'99).

Anyways,
Good: Mazda RX-7 (FD)
Cheverolet Corvette Grand Sport
Opera Performance S2000
NiSMO 350Z Z-Tune
Nissan 300ZX 2 Seater '89/'98
NiSMO Skyline GT-R S-Tune (R32)
SiLEighty
NiSMO 270R
Chaparall 2D
Chaparall 2J
Toyota GT1 (TS020)
Pagani Zonda C12
Pagani Zonda C12s
Pagani Zonda C12 LM

Bad:
NiSMO 350Z S-Tune
NiSMO GT-R LM Road Car

Old Geezer
REALLY???
Then I'd suggest you take one of your DTM Rides to the Gran Turismo World Championship Series! Be sure to let us know how you do....O.G. :D
Uh, the GTWC has LMPs and Group Cs, not JGTC cars.

Good:
Audi R8 and BMW V12 LMR
JGTC cars
Corvette C5R
Buick Special

Bad:
Gillet Vertigo
Suzuki Escudo
Rally cars
