I've really loved the look of the Scirocco ever since MOTOR Magazine in Australia did a feature on it. I love the 'low' look it has. Prolly the only VW i'd be interested in buying in real life.

Great to finally be able to drive it in GT.

I've noticed both of the new VWs have a rather unrealistic weight distribtion of 53/47, when in reality they're probably closer to 60/40. No wonder they handle well, they have the same exact balance as the FT-86. I wish PD would stop using phony stats to artifically enhance certain cars and handicap others.

Scirocco R is rubbish, too much power to the front wheel. Its struggling for grip! In terms of lap time, Golf R is way faster!

From a standing start, I agree with you. The Golf R gets off better, but having done a bunch of back-to-back testing, the Golf R stalls out aerodynamically in 5th gear. The Scirocco is much more slippery and will do 170mph with stock trans.

according to VW usa we are supposed to get the Next Gen Scirocco in the usa. lets just hope they dub it a corrado and i'll have two. and i hope they base it on the audi coupe quattro concept

Wow, the thing really looks like a Corrado '12. :D:tup:

Let's hope they bring it with the TT-RS engine, 4WD & for a cheaper price. Then it would be my dream car. :D

Really disappointed that the Scirocco R is only FWD, 260hp (stock) on the front wheels, searching for grip. :scared:

Btw. buy for the Golf the cumstom LSD & set it to 25/75. Then the car is more fun.
👍

I took the Scirocco stock (oil change, CS tires) around the ring for the first time. Surprisingly good, very smooth... a bit more agile than I imagined it would be. Plus with all FWD cars the brakes I found were awesome.
