Welcome to the Volkswagen Scirocco R Spec Racing series! This is a six-race series between the same car, unmodified. This would provide even racing as there will be one less factor affecting the outcome of the race. To participate, you will require PD's latest DLC pack.
Volkswagen Scirocco R '10

Welcome to the new Scirocco R! It's got a 2.0L Straight-4 engine that produces 257 HP, all of which goes to the front wheels. During the championship, you are not allowed to modify it in any way, except for painting it and changing the wheels.
Please conduct an oil change prior to the races, to keep your car up with the others!
Racing Schedule
All races are on Saturdays! Lobbies open at 4:30PM Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8), and the racing will start at 5:00PM PST. The race itself should be around 60 minutes long.
Race 0 (January 7): Nurburgring GP/F - 23 Laps
Race 1 (January 28): Suzuka Circuit Weather - 20 Laps
Race 2 (February 4): Laguna Seca - 28 Laps
Race 3 (February 11): Daytona Road Course - 24 Laps.
Race 4 (February 18): Autodromo Nazionale Monza / Weather Change - 26 Laps
Race 5 (March 3): Nurburgring 24H - 5 Laps
Racing Configuration
1. Practice
Until the start of the race, you may just practice with others on the track.
2. Qualifying Race
This is a race to determine your position on the starting grid. Laps depend on the length of the track. Note that "Qualifying Race" is shortened to "Quali Race" due to the stupid chat filter in GT5.
3. Race
The first lap will be a parade lap where you can warm your tires up. Therefore, a 18 lap race for example will be 19 laps long. Maximum speed is 120 km/h (75 mph). The lead car will act as a pace car. After the first lap, the race is on! There is one mandatory pit!
Drivers are allowed to skip Practice and Qualification rounds if they need to, but must start at the back.
Should anyone get disconnected from the race, they will have to miss the rest of the race.
Regulations
I won't have any official written rules for racing. Just think what is right and what is wrong. 👍
Points will be lost if you ram or damage another player. You can privately report to me any incidents as I might not be able to catch all incidents while reviewing the race.
If only 50% of players arrive at a lobby, that race will be cancelled.
