I dunno but I dont think it makes that much of a diference. A well tuned car should handle well on any type of controller. I use a wheel but have no problem when useing a ds3 pad.

I think its easier to find faults in the handling with a wheel though so I would say wheel tunes are better than ds3 tunes.

I tune with a DS3 and from feedback during the various F.I.T.T. events, the best drivers can detect differences in the way cars were tuned. Many DS3 tunes are considered rather loose by top wheel drivers while tunes done on wheels can seem rather tight to DS3 users. Good drivers will compensate easily for the differences but there is a slight variance in perceived handling based on what a tune is created by.

There is no list of DS3 tuners. Most tuners will mention what control type they tune with in their respective pages anyway. Also asking them directly won't hurt either.

I'm on a controller, I've been told from wheel users that they work well, I dont have many to pick from, but the ones I do have listed have been worked for easily 100 hours or more. I tune with both the DS3 and now a G27. When I post tunes now I will note which controller was used. If no controller is listed, it was tuned with DS3. I don't plan to go back through my old tunes and add DS3.

I tune using DS3 but the Controller Steering Sensitivity at -2 for increased precision. But, as Desperado said, it depends on the drivers and if they can compensate for the loose/tightness in settings.

Usually when you go to a garage read their intro. It will explain exactly what the normal setups are. I personally tune with DS3
