Is there a weakness of the Trueno S.S.?

the only thing I found is Test Course and maybe super speedway against High HP cars. other than that beats alot of cars on all other courses and a great drift car. tell me if any other weaknesses

Beat the FR thing in amatuer and you get one. At least in the US version, I'm assuming for all of them.


Also, while it is a good car, even fully tuned and a great setup from gtvault.com (which appears to be messed up some ATM) I still got stomped in the amatuer gt world championship... so it could be more powerful and all..

Its useless unless you like it because it "drifts."

Don't look good on the track.

Makes me look bad when I drive it.

the stock 86 that you can buy has less HP & torque and weighs more than the SS, here are the stats:

STOCK 86:

POWER: 128 hp @ 6,600 rpm

TORQUE: 109 lb-ft @ 5,200 rpm

WEIGHT: 925 kg

SS 86:

POWER: 207 hp @ 9,500 rpm

TORQUE: 171 lb-ft @ 7,500 rpm

WEIGHT: 825 kg

in Real like a power to weight ratio of 207/825 would be a lot ppl's worst nightmares.. that car would probably run low 13's high 12's in the qtr mile... and be right on the tails if not par with porsche turbo's and Ferrari Modena's...

The great weakness of ae86 SS is against high power cars, but in some circuits with lots of curves, like seattle circuit and others circuits, it still be a good car .

The best of the ae86 ss is that it combine a very light car (with weight reducion 3), and a car with good hp (369 hp).

The idea of the car is that you dont need to brake so much because the car is under powered, havent you seen the drift bible. Shame.
O k so it aint as fast as your pristeen skylines or your GT-one. But, even in the game the car give you a good feeling how to learn how to drift, grip drivers shouldnt use it, but to start off with, it IS A GOOD CAR, if you dont beleive me download some 86 drifting videos (REAL LIFE), then hopefully you will appricate the car. Also read the scroling text under the car when you go to buy the 86, I think you people are just narrow minded.... In simple terms, if some one said would you like a 86 or a honda excel, in real life, you have to be a fool not to take the 86
