Is there a weakness of the Trueno S.S.?

the AE86 is popular { in real life} because its cheap, durable, and RWD. they are equipped with the 130hp 4AG motor and can be modified easily. the AE86 isnt the most powerful drift car, but because its so affordable to buy and build, it remains the top choice to go drifting with. the best all around drift cars are the NISSAN SILVIA S13/S14 and the NISSAN 180SX/SIL-EIGHTY. being just as affordable as the AE86.

well, one thing is that the trueno ss isnt really meant for speed (i mean fast speeds), its a car that has good performance and light weight, which i believe is great on technical courses.

The cars handling is better than most cars stock and when fully tuned, but I have to say due to the fact there isn't that much torque, and the S.S. version can only get to around 400 HP, that acceleration is really the only issue with it.

i agree, superb handling allows for fast cornering but accel is quite bad, dependindg on gearign and track, also top speed isnt too great also due to gearing. but its a great car nonetheless

THX Limit 4-5. I really dont think anyone can complain about the car in real life. AND WATCH THE DRIFT BIBLE, for those that dont like the car, then i hope you can appreiciate it. Also you get to see one in a race, it is a good car. Dont belive everyone that says it is. then watch the drift bible, then I will accept your complaints.

RX-7 ROCKS

Thing is, it's popular as a drift car because it has archaic suspension. I've ridden space hoppers with more advanced suspension technology.

The MX-5 is worlds ahead.

Trueno seems to have a problem with putting power down to the rear wheels. I think it is utter shat for racing.

The SS is even worse, soo expensive, you can do soo much better.

so expensive. you cant buyit, you only can win it so in my book thats cheap. and a fun little car to beat around in. i might use it in the trial mountain endurance.

You can not enter this car in the trial mountain endurance as it has modified parts fitted when you get it. The Standard parts can not be purchased or fitted and as such is treated as a modified car in a similar way as the Mines & Spoons are treated.
Stock cars only for the Trial Mountain Enduro.

I usually do not sell prize cars that you can only win once.

Another good point, but that is not the point of this thread. They wanted to know the weakness of the SS, not weather or not you WOULD sell it, but if there are better cars in the game.

I don't sell any cars, no matter how crap, i like to have one of each and several of my favourite, that is a goal i have with every save i start.

The engine isn't Durable...The car might be..but the 4-age is in no way a durable engine....And modified easily? By easily you mean TIME right? because it's aftermarket isn't cheap......And the Sil-eighty is simply a replacment for people who have broken their cars......1-10000 people with "sil-eightys" have REAL sil-eighties and if they had them they wouldn't drift them, because they're the few in that group of imitations that the bodylines actually match up.....

the trueno is a good car, but it doesn't do well against most cars, it's only able to keep up with some hondas and lower class cars. but after watching initial D, i just grew to like it, it did need some hp boost so i played with gameshark and my trueno is pushing 571hp, stage 2 turbo lol.

to my suprise i have used the trueno s.s alot, ive done over 400km with it. i dont mind it, its a pretty zipply little car
