Is there any simple way of finding out which cars I'm missing?

I've got about 950 cars now, with just a few duplicates. And except for the ugly, useless NASCARs and the 20 Mil Jaguar I've got all the premiums.

Now I thought I'd go for the 1000 car trophy (and eventually get all cars even if I have to buy those heaps of scrap called NASCARs), but without buying duplicates. Problem is that waiting for the missing 50-80 to pop up in the UCD seems to be a life's work, so I thought I'd try the Marketplace.

This means I need to identify the exact cars I'm missing. Is there an easy way of doing this?

I thought of entering my cars in that mygranturismo site, but after starting out i gave up after an hour or two, it's just too time consuming.

Any tips of other methods?

Other than printing out the full car list, then going through your garage and crossing them off, I havent heard of another way.
That's what I did and it didn't take too much time. Search by manufacturer so you are not moving up and down the list all the time.

Uhm, isn't there a little blue sign next to the names of the cars you already own?

Besides the little blue hock there is another way.
Sign up to mygranturismo.net
-> my Cars (there is the complete Car list)
--> click on every Car you own ingame

After that you see which car is missing.
Your welcome ;)

If you own an iphone or ipad, there's some apps that are comparable to the mygranturismo concept except they're less time consuming!

Edit: in the app store just search on gt5 or gran turismo

Seems this is the only way sadly.

And the blue tick is useless for finding what cars you don't have when aiming for the marketplace.

I printed out a list of every car in the game, took up 25 A4 pages, then went through my garage alphabetically and checked off the ones i had. Took quite a few hours, but i was bored ;). Only 39 more to go.
