Is there qualifying for online events?

I think it will be a handy feature for online leagues and stuff.

you can sort starting grid by fastest first, slowest first and reverse order of previous race position. dont know what the first ones refer to, maybe free run best laps?

This sounds like music to me. Hopefully, the starting grid will be determined by a pre-race qualifying stage wether it is a free run or not.

Online races and championships would be dull without a time qualifying prior to races.

yea, I havent tried it yet and that was just what I think the settings were when I saw them so I could be completly wrong. you can jump from free run to race during free run so if they are what I think they are, qualifying is in will test out later tonight to see. maybe someone else will have checked it out by then though

Amongst all others this is a feature I've been looking for since GT5P. Can't wait for your findings. Please, post them as soon as you can.

Edit: Yes there is, sorry for delay. Free run records who sets the fastest lap and then when the race starts you can have the grid set to either fastest first, slowest first or reverse positions of last race results.
