It's been noted several times in this thread already: an AWS (server infrastructure service) outage is causing issues for numerous platforms globally - many of which are more significant to day-to-day life than gaming - including PlayStation Network.

The news is even on major international news sites:

Don't launch GT7 in offline mode, if you do, once logged back in, you'll find that all your styles preview images in the design list are gone, just black box thumbnails (and they'll have to be regenerated one by one).
