I've never seen one, although there probably as rare as IS300s over here, which i've only seen at a lexus dealership. I've seen more actuall Altezzas than IS300's.
I just felt like saying that.

I question what you have and have not seen. Almost weekly I'm talking about some (admittedly rare) car in Britain and you come back with a 'haven't seen it.'
I've forumlated two theories:
a) you actually live in Tampa, and just pretend you live in London
b) you suck at spotting cars and therefore it doesn't matter what you have and haven't seen
Next thing you'll be telling me how you've never seen a Corolla - yeah, well - play Getaway!
You mean Ford Festiva - how is Tampa this time of year?Originally posted by Race Idiot
Today I spotted a freakin Kia Pride and realised that it looks like that shogun thingy.

Peterborough. It's where that fake M5 is registered, meaning you can find that IS300 SC there - GO! EXPLORE! SEE! DISCOVER!Originally posted by Race Idiot
Essex, now Tampa.
Where the **** do you want me to live next?

Interestingly, the car is a non-prestige G-plate, indicating registration between August 1, 1989, and July 31, 1990. As any self-respecting M5 fan knows, the M5 on the E34 platform didn't debut until the 1991 model year (even though the platform debuted in 1989), so if it were really an M5, it would be at least a 'normal' H-plate - my verdict is 'fake' and I call it a normal 1989 E34 5-series.
As far as your comment - 'wow an m5 i havent seen one that old b4': M5's have been produced in three distinct styles. The first went from 1987 to 1989 and is known as the E28. The second went from 1991 to 1995 and was known as the E34, and the last went from 2000 to 2003 and was known as the E39. We're looking for a new M5, called E60, to begin production in early 2005.
