I can name you 2 ways more boring tracks. :)

Track #1: Tsukuba (Still have to do the 9hr a-Spac race. Hope i don't kill myself after that. Will use the X2010 to save at least 2,5hrs of my lifetime.)

Track #2: Indy (& all the other "drive only in a circle" tracks) Just ask the rubber band.

I think they made the track to closed
Its annoying wyen you turn just a bit hard on gambon and you end up hitting an invisible wall
They shouldve made the track more open and let you use the whole runway
Add weather and thats pretty much all i want PD to do to TGTT

:odd: A 9hr race is a 9hr race. Takes as long to run it in a Daihatsu Midget II as it does the X2010.

I stay away from the test track online for the simple reason that people use the runway as a dragstrip when the lobby is marked racing..etc.

Yea, but a X2010 is so OP that you have only to drive around 5,5hrs.

The remaining time you can park on the side, awaiting the 9hr gong & then do the finish round. e voila :D:tup:

Oh, then i can save 3,5hrs & not 2,5. :)

Oh, i see :dopey:

EDIT: I'm not recalling SSR7, which one is that? and why is it so boring?

The highway track, which is essentially 2 long straight-ish sections and 2 hairpins which was previously only used for the GT-R wall glitch. It's possible you've not heard of it because there are no GTLife events here and is mainly used online

Having driven the track in the real world, I can say the game is very close.

Fantastic track and great fun, depends who you race with.

The losers who mess about on there and just drag race....... well thats going to get boring anywhere.

I voted no. Indy is probably the most boring. At least Daytona has that other corner at the start/finish. lol

Laguna is probably the most boring in looks, it certainly looks the worst. SSR7 is at least a kinda cool setting and is good for pictures.

But I'm not gonna hurt my eyes trying to read the OP, change the color and I'll gladly read it. Why to people even change color of their text anyway? What's so bad about black on white? That's the way it's been for ages.

With Top Gear's, I've noticed that it has the most amount of variety. It's far from the most boring.

As for the most boring track, I would go with London, which is for beginners and kart racing, not for experienced gamers.

I like to take mynew cars out for a spin after tuning it. You should change the color of the text too because it's impossible to read.

If only you could drive around the entire airstrip. Not just the allowed driving space currently. It would be great for drag races and top speed recordings.

How can you possibly say that TGTT is the most boring track? That title surely has to go to the NASCAR tracks. Just going around an oval for lap after lap will drive you mental. And trust me, you wouldn't care about the bland scenery after you've experienced the tension and nerve-wrecking excitement (well i find it exciting) of a 3 car late-braking contest for the lead entering the Hammerhead. When you have a situation with three cars charging side by side into a corner thats only wide enough for one and you come out on top, you wouldn't really care about the stupid cones and bland environment.

Oh, but deserts do have scenery, and so do those tracks you mentioned! I'm actually fascinated with deserts, but that's a different story... GT5's desert just looks horrible. Laguna Seca is literally just smudges of brown and green, which is much less appealing than a real desert. I'm not asking for a Shift 2 makeover, but at least a little upgrade. I'm not a person to rag on about scenery, but I do like tracks to have some kind of atmosphere when racing.

I'd also like to add that Tsukubu is a fun track to lap around with slower cars! ...though maybe not for 13 hours.

This is Buttonwillow Raceway, it's a fun track, show me what scenery you speak of.

Having been to ButtonWillow and Willow Springs/Streets of Willow myself I can understand why Polyphony didn't spend too much time on the detail of Leguna Seca's background, to make such small details visible would take a crap load of memory and would make the damn track load slower, causing retards to complain about the loading times. I would love if if my above mentioned tracks would make it into the GT series, they are prominent tracks on the west coast for track day enthusiasts, (Leguna Seca, and Infenion are better but waaay more pricey).

Top Gear Test Track is probably one of the more fun ones. Hence, the massive number of free run lobbies hosted there...the ovals aren't that boring either for me, close racing happens a lot there, plus you can go backwards on them and get some really high speed crashes. That's always fun

The dirt and snow tracks are hard for me and they become boring pretty quickly for me too. London is also boring for me, also Madrid too, Rome is somewhat better than them.

Deny, I actually think it's decent track to race on. It's definitely not as boring as Daytona (both oval and infield versions). Indy oval and London circuit are also boring in my opinion.

Cones? Come on, then people get upset when called cry babies whining over the most ridiculous things, like cones.

No banked turns? Are you joking? (duh, air strip) why on earth would there be a bank turn of anykind.

What were you expecting for scenery? It's England, land of the bland and boring, and again "duh, air strip". Scope the 747 in the background lol.

Is it the most boring track in GT5? That is a matter of opinion. I like it for the same reason it's used by the show (not because it's in a show) but because the design has a purpose and I use the track for the reason the track was designed. So in my humble opinion the track is great.

I don't like the invisible walls or that they are so close to the track edge. Maybe pushing them out further so a error leading to running off track would be mote realistic, but its not that big of a deal when you should be on the track anyways.

Denied IMHO

I like the track and agree with you on the invisible walls. I wish PD would move them back to the tracks property line or replace them with real barriers. That goes for all tracks.

I like TGTT quite a bit, actually. For being such a flat, short and simple track, it presents some very good tests of a car's oversteer/understeer tendencies and high-speed stability. The only complaint I have with it is that there's no way to do a standing-start lap. I'd love to have my own Power Lap board, PD really missed the boat on this IMO.

What scenery do I see? Well...the sparse vegetation, the rocks, the dirt, etc... The landscape. Scenery isn't only limited to vast amounts of foliage.

Anyway...I'm not asking for the littlest of details like grain size or cracks in the dirt..far from. When looking at games like Shift 2 and Forza 3, Laguna Seca looks much better (not including the tents and other side objects) without causing strains on the system. The track has lots of room to improve, and could look decent without getting even remotely close to being a burden on the PS3's hardware. I just wish it looked slightly better than the current state it is in..nothing too extreme.

I'll agree that it's not much of a concern to cause a riot over, but a little upgrade would be welcoming.

Seriously that I am the only one here who literally sleep after 4 laps of Suzuka 1000km?
Probably not, but I will say that course was boring as watching paint dry after four hours when you got close to the end, especially if using the Red Bull X2010. That being said, it is a fun course otherwise.
