Issues after 1.10 Update

List any issues you are having post 1.10 install:

My issues are:
:tdown:B-spec remote races aren't working with Yonis's widget anymore, although they were working earlier today after update.
:tdown:Community takes a long time to load, and most things within that
:tdown:B-spec drivers take a long time to load, in the driver section.
:tdown:Friend's profiles disapear every second or third time I start up the game, requiring a restart of the game.

Edit:

Yonis's widget is working fine, it was a problem in which I was having with my own network.

Most other problems which have been reported have something to do with connection issues, as my three other problems were. I left a reply on page 3 which may explain why these are happening.

Edit 2:

Also ensure you've gotten System Updated v3.65 for your PS3, some GTPers have reported this as fixing some online issues.

I have an error. I downloaded the Patch then afterwards it come up with error message saying not enough space not hard-drive need at least 32mb required please exit and free up some space. I hbe 16gb free. This happens every time I reset the game any one else got this?
 
The game has many random hangs.

I tried loading up My Lounge to open a room for a friend to join and the loading bar that shows up before actually entering the room was full but wouldn't go any farther than that. I had to exit the game because I was stuck on the black screen with the blue loading bar for over a minute.
 
I've had
1."cannot establish a connection" error messages.
2.Exited out of a BSpec Online race and it stuck on a black screen for about 2 mins before finally getting back to main menu.
3.Also had the disappearing Friends.

Hopefully they fix it. Will become annoying if it keeps happening.

Just got it there now, system stability update, I'll report back if issues continue after the install.
 
Earlier on I tried to start a race, instead of the loading bar I had a black screen then it went back to the GT Home screen. Also I did a one make race in Practice, after the race I went to quit, the menu disappeared and the sound faded out but that was it, I was left with Lister Storm V12's doing silent laps of Tsukuba for about 2 minutes.

I don't have the optional update, though.

I got this to, I'm redownloading the updates now. Hopefully it will work, I want the see the changes for 1.10.

Edit: redownloading the update worked, though I still need the reinstall the 8gb of data to make the game load faster. Whatever, atleast my game works now.

So what update dud you redownload? The PSN update or the GT5 update?
 
I have a big Issue... I can't download the update, my ps3 marks than I have to wait 1300 minutes to get the update and after 10 minutes I just got a miserable 1% :indiff:, I've restarted my PS3 several times, I tried reseting my modem and... nothing :(

the GT5 update. I didn't even know about the optional PSN update untill after I started redownloading the GT5 update.
 
Don't have any of the issues mentioned. In fact I'm currently grinding away with the widget.
 
Mine hangs randomly going into races, music keeps playing but the game just stops.

Are you on wireless or wired? That has happened to me quite a few times, usually I would reset my wireless box ( as I have my ps3 connected wirelessly ) and then set back up a new connection on the PS3 and it works fine after.


Also I was doing the Event with the subie and when I went to pause it, the game would pause, but the menu wouldn't show.
 
I did the gt5 update and now it seems the game gets stuck at certain parts or just takes forever to load. I did not have this problem before the update. I'll try again maybe tomorrow.
 
Online the game freezes and runs much much slower. I lost about 200k in money because of lockups tonight.

Ahh, and i noticed after collecting around 200 helmets/suits that my gamesave increased from around 3200kb to 5700kb. :eek:

How do you collect suits and helmets?
 
I was stuck ina black screen for a half hour before i finally decided to quit the game and shut down the console.

Its not optional. If your on lower than 3.60 it forces a system update. Crapiest and great update at the same time.
 
I downloaded GT5 to the HDD, to improve loading times etc. A little while back but after this update I sit here waiting for at least 45 seconds just to go into some places. It seems to run slower. It varies for load times, some times it will be really quick and then it will just drag on the GT5 logo for ages.

Everything else seems fine though.

I know, but 3.60 is not optional, it's a pain for us on 3.55. I had to delete my game data and re-update to 1.09 to be able to run my disk.

It's the first time a game update forces a firmware update to my knowledge.
 
I keep getting a message that i need to set Time and Date, and i can't get passed that point. The message just stays there and i can't play the game... I reseted so many time and nothing seems to work. Even setting the time and date! Help?
 
I can't get in to the game. It comes up with a black screen, and if i press x, it make the sound as when you press ok. Then the GT logo apers, and from there i can't do anything.
I have updated the game, and the ps3.

Please help.

this happens to me too after the screen in the startup that tells you where to find the Network Policy info it just stops as a black screen.

I have firmware Update 3.65
 
I have had the game freeze on me twice now. Once in the tuning challenge a spec championship and just now after completeing the whole dream car championship.

This sucks for me because now I am out 1 million credits and I don't have online to do the seasonals.

I also got the black screen twice already. I have 3.65.
 
i have fw 3.65
after updating the game to 1.10, after finishing my race the screen turns black, the gt5 logo appears at the lower right screen and you can hear the typical after race screen sounds ( the cars going on their rounds and such)

after on online race my car went around the track on autopilot an i clould not return to the post race screen.

man this sucks
