Dear forumers:
I have finished my journey through the new 1.06 update, and I really think it is time to acknowledge PD's work on it.
I have always thought that Gran Turismo simply has no rival, whatever flashy garments the other video games may have, Gran Turismo is the king by far.
Nothing comes close to the feeling of driving a car in GT and it's classy concept.
All the modifications that came with this update raised GT5 to another level. I was really worried (I have to admit) that GT was in a steep decadence, with all the bugs, illogical issues, etc...
Now we have a proof that PD is working on the right path, if SONY forced them to rush things, well, it's their business, it's their ways.
I knew that Mr. Yamauchi would not let us down, or more precisely, allow his creation to sink in the rubbish of another generic, mediocre, and unpolished modern video game.
While there are a lot of things that most of us really still desire, GT5 is again special.
I'm 36 years old, I grew up with all the classics since video games were practically born. I've lived them all.
I can remember many many epic moments in video game history, and one of those was when I discovered Gran Turismo while roaming through Akihabara in Japan around 15 years ago. It was the biggest novelty. I played a bit and I'm here, still playing the franchise.
Thank you PD, I'm sure you listened to what people said, I'm sure SONY forced you to rush things, and I'm sure you will keep on giving us a yet better GT5 through updates, getting closer every day to the perfect racing video game, even though, it has always been the best in the industry.
It's time to acknowledge some things, don't you think guys?
