Indeed, but do yourself another favor and go to the normal gtplanet site. Then get the prize cars list out and find the zonda racecar. Then tune that sucker and you will easily take the race.

Good luck.

btw, right now I am running this series for ub57's diablo series and the diablo is awesome against those zondas.:D

If you are racing the Zonda C12S against 5 Zonda Racecars:

Brake about twice as far ahead of the turn as they do and four times as far ahead as you think you have to.

It's easily doable in a medium-tune C12S. Like ZZII said, the key to driving the Zonda is to have a very steady and smooth driving style. Avoid slamming on the brakes at all costs.

That would be Der Alta. One of his better analogies.

i just did this 2 days ago with extreme ease....

this is now i did it..

use the Zonda Race Car, racing slicks, Famines settings for the car, tweak them a little to suit your style, use the natural engine braking to slow for the corners, be light with the brakes and learn to steer it precicely.....you'll win by 30+ seconds....

never get up to full speed and slam your brakes on for a corner, you'll turn the race track into a skating rink...

i have learned to love this car after hating it for so long..:)

use this beast...

Use really hard tyres and don't pit, and start using the search button, almost every thread you've made so far has been done 100's of time already, and there aload of helpful tip in the read this threads.

1. A fully tuned Pagani Zonda C12S will kick Zonda Race Cars ass like none other, and
2. T2 tires, like previously mentioned, will make it so they pit and you dont.

Italian Avant Garde was one of the easiet races IMO. Plus it made me happy to have so many v12s pumping in one race.

exactly, it isnt really a hard car to drive

i thought it was hard too but when i went to do it (a month ago) it was easy and i won by about 20 seoncds on the non pit race and 40 seocnds on the pit race.

non pit = they didnot pit
Pit = they did pit

when you first get this game and build up some money and licences, it is a hard race to beat....

but i left this race for ages, right up until a few months ago after having the game for a long long time and as an experienced driver it came quite easily...

I mentioned this in the "Worst GT moments" topic, but I'll just shed my knowledge.

Don't get me wrong, the Pagani Zonda is a beautiful car. It may not be the Jaguar XJ220, but it is a beautiful 500+ hp supercar only available in silver in the game. The engine noise is rather weird or nonexistant (barely noticable sound? Subaru Impreza w/o racing muffler).

But tune up this Italian beauty and give it the power to win even Le Mans (in class), and pair it up against 5 others, and it's chaos.

As a Gran Turismo veteran, I know that if you can't win with setup (especially for the unforgiving Rome Circuit), you can always win by strategy. This includes proper pit time, "attacking" the other cars, and such. About the best strategies I can make:

- tune the car to 1,000 hp (it is possible)
- try to adjust your Final Gear for more speed, of course, don't overtune. Otherwise, you'll be easy to pass.

Now I recommend you get the Race car, that way, you will be able to have equality in the race. Don't know what race to win to get it? Let me get my GT3 Guide... get the Pagani Zonda Race Car by winning:

- Passage II Colosseo (Rome Circuit endurance)

To be honest, I don't know how I got my Race Car! Anyhow, good luck to you!

It's all about smoothness. You should probably train for it by doing the Pro Vitz series, which will reinvigorate your sense of how to treat the vehicle delicately.

The skills you learn in momentum conservation on the Vitz will transfer easily to grip conservation on the Zonda.

That I would agree with there Giles, nice point 👍

Also easier to learn a track for the first time (racing lines and the like) in a slower car that is easier to handle

You dont need a smooth line. all you need is just to not slam on the brakes because they always lock up (or they have a fog machine by them).

It helps alot to have the race car version.I beat it easily earlier, kind of funny because I was thinking of doing the races this morning. It helps to use the qualify option so you can warm up before the actual race.
