has there head so far up Nissan's rear that they are incapable of being diverse and balanced in car line up. I think the PD team eats drinks and sleeps Nissan and other Japanese cars it's ridiculous.

Will we ever see new and exciting cars besides the played out GTR, Miata and Mazda insanity?

Oh shut it! There are plenty of great cars that aren't Japanese in the game and more American/European cars than in ANY OTHER game out there. Is there a bias towards Japanese games? Yes. Would I like more American/European cars? Yes, but I'm not going to b**ch about it! You come off as some whiney preteen.

I don't know if you've played GT recently but there are a lot more than Japanese cars on offer. How about basing you statement on some solid foundations.

Insanity you say? It's the same feeling I get every time I read one of the waste of space comments that hardly warrants a new thread, let alone on that consist of a rant 2 lines long.

Did you make this comment to start an argument or did you just miss all of the relevant threads which are discussing these matters?

How many times do I have to read this tosh before I'm driven completely from this section because of the nonsense dribble that is posted here?

I'm sure if it wan an American company or a European we'd get more Muscle Cars or Fiats, just how it is.

I am a realist and not some fan boy that is going to excuse anything PD does with a game that I pay for. Too many sheep minded followers on here.

I'm pretty close to being driven from any GT discussion because it's all dribble full of trolls and fanboys of both sides now days. :( I'm glad I found a sensible post for once!

Although I think the car diversity is fairly good as it is, this is not a bad idea. An american division could help making the NASCAR more realistic, and also convince Kaz to include drag racing in the future. 👍

It's super annoying when you go into the Used Car Dealer, and find 5 Miatas, 3 Civics, and 3 NSXs every time.
 
The car list is what it is, but honestly, looking at the new RM, all but 1 is Japanese. There are so many premium models that could have had the RM, but instead, they decided to give us another Evo, another Wrx, 4 Skyline Rms. You look at the Rm request list, people wanted a DB9 RM, a XKR RM, a 458/430/F40 RM, Mustang RM, you know, cars from the rest of the world. Yes they are biased, but the OP is right, they simply go over board for their love of Japanese cars. Look at Forza, they are American, but they have the best car list a game possibly can because it is so balanced.
 
Well no 🤬 PD has more Japanese cars than anything else. I think Nissan helped out Kaz a lot over the years, so why not give preference to them?

And it's clear that this thread has it's head up it's own rear too.

No there are too many people who feel entitled to whatever it is that they want. GT has always had a slant towards Japanese cars(although GT2, GT4, and GT5 improved on that slant) so if it's that big of a deal why didn't you just ditch GT at the first one or the third one?
 
They are from Japan and they love their cars. If it was an American company, they would care about their cars.

Same goes for Microsoft Flight Simulator, there are more Boeing planes than Airbus. Microsoft and Boeing are American so Microsoft cares about Boeing.

But yeah, it would be nice to have more European and American cars.
 
It's just unbelievable to me that with the myriad of GTR and Miata's PD decides to offer us yet MORE of the same as DLC for us to pay for lol wow.

But yet we have mindless fools on here saying ur dur GT is the bestes! when you know deep down you are all getting stiffed from cars your wish they put in but your fan boy ways refuse to admit it, I don't have that problem.
 
But the game is Japanese. Just that is worth thinking about. And I can't wait to drive the new DLC cars that look great. I'd take an R32 RM over a Premium Veyron personally. But If you bought the game and didn't like that it had a huge slice of the Japanese automotive industry and history because it was made by a company which is based in Japan, etc, etc... Don't drive those cars, or perhaps get a game made by a developer located in another part of the world.

And all this is essentially a repost since several members hopefully has made this clear.
 
Americans? I don't think so, also they have the badass ones (camaros and challengers), what we need is more europeans hot hatchs and old BMW's

That is no reason to implement 500-600 Japanese cars... Where would we be if EA (as I know they are or were from Canada?) would only implement canadian basketball, canadian soccer or canadian ice hockey teams in their games?


I remember an tweet from Kaz where he wrote that he knows the problem with the Japanese cars and that there are tooo much in the game... So I cant understand why they made a DLC with 80% Japanese cars :crazy:

Is it possible that Sony wasted all the money in the last 5 years and now have no budged for new licenses?
 
Then don't buy the DLC. I'm sure Kaz will have trouble sleeping at night.

You realize they just added as many American cars in the Spec II update as they did Japanese with the DLC right? And with that one challenger it puts it at 13 American cars added and 11 Japanese. Oh but it wasn't what you wanted? You don't like Nascar? Oh it looks like you're overlooking facts to piss and moan.

I'm not a native English speaker, but I do think if you start a reply with "Whatever..." then you need to stop right there.
 
I'd have to really look at the car list, but it seems like there is a huge hole when it comes to European and North American cars from the 80s and 90s. A complete lineup of Audis, BMWs, MBs, and VWs would be awesome. I guess we can still hold out hope for them as DLC, but I'm not holding my breath.
 
I think the biggest thing people fail to remember is that GT5 is the ONLY decent simulator on the PS3. Many of us don't game on PC or have a XBOX, so if we want our realistic racing fix, its GT or nothing. Thats why people who complain just want the absolute best product possible. I can bet you if Forza and GT were cross platform, not many would be complaining because you could just go to the other game.
 
Adding a reskinned NASCAR is not adding a car to the game. It's one car with 22 different looks.
 
If the car lists where all the same it would be boring ;) Also, this happens since GT1, and the games are best sellers, so why change? :crazy:
Yes, I would prefer a Koenigsegg CCX or a Gumpert Apollo over another GTR, but I have dealed with it a long time ago :)
