If i remember correctly, no-one got alonso right last time round so who will get it right this weekend?

my thoughts:

1) Monty (boo!)
2) Ralf
3) Mikey
4) Raikers
5) Barri
6) Trulli

Williams 1-2, probably with Montoya in front. I think Raikkonen will beat Michael.

The highlight of the weekend will be the Renaults running zero wing.

1. Monto
2. Couthard
3. michael
4. alonso
5. webbo
6. trulli
7. button
8. rubens

this is one whacked up order, but who would of predicted alonso winning at hungary

I would agree with that.

The problem is this though: Ralf is better under braking, and with a stable car. The teams have just done a week's testing, so we could reasonably assume that the Williams will be in better fettle, and therefore Ralf will get more out of it.

So, the question is: How will Williams get Juan past Ralf, given that Ralf's radio is notoriously unreliable?

i to think a williams 1, 2 at Monza i just hope the tyre situation dose not effect the race. I found it so funny when Renault’s Fernando Alonso accused Ferrari of being sore losers. ferrari have an intent to ruin the sport forever. last year with team orders. and now complaining when they are not winning. mclaren and williams never complained when ferrari were dominating. I belive this tyre insident will damage the ferrari grand prix teams reputaion and i think they diserve it.

Yea, ferrari dont seem to have learnt the whole PR side of F1 very well. Well, the teams didnt complain when ferrari were winning. they just got the FIA to change the rule to slow down ferrari :D

I reckon monty is due a breakdown or something soon. He has had it all his own way for the last 6 races. Even schumie had some bad luck last year when things were so rosey.

Well, that's not really true now, is it? There were consistent accusations, mainly from Ron Dennis, it has to be said, that there was one rule for Ferrari and one rule for everyone else.

I think that this was especially the case with the Malaysian Barge Boards fiasco, plus the non-punishment at Jerez 1997, and with the FIA's failure to deal with Austria 2002 in a meaningful manner.

How can you blame Ferrari of being sore losers if they are losing because the tires of the opposition are wider than 270 mm at the end of a grand prix or before ( it doesnt matter ). That it is a form of cheating!! Its not about being a sore loser, its about losing to teams that have been cheating. It's only normal that Ferrari and Bridgestone want to make sure that the Michelin tires remain within the 270 mm upper bound limitation stated by the regulations ( although in a confusing manner ), whether it is before or after being used.

Its so simple though... you dont like Ferrari, so you call them sore losers. You like Ferrari, so you say they are right to be doing this... I am not biased on this situation. Regulations are there not to be broken and cause and advantage to a team or a number of teams.

Correct. 👍

Part of the problem has stemmed from the fact that within various circles there is the view that the FIA do not treat complaints by Ferrari or about Ferrari on an equal basis.

There is so much money involved here that everyone is a sore loser, simply because a loss can cost millions of pounds.

Its been like that since the days of 'il comandantore' though. Ferrari have always been strong politics wise I believe they were the first people to win an appeal against the FIA:odd:

1. Montoya
2. Kimi
3. R. Schumacher
4. M. Schumacher

I don't know if anyone else is still a contender but we'll see.

Anyway, yeah. I think it will be interesting now that the tyre regulations have changed/been inforced. These coming races should be good.

I think M.Schumacher still has a chance at winning it. But I do hope Kimi wins, just because of my own preferences. :) I think Montoya is most likely to win though. He appears to have the best pacage at the moment.

That is important not to lose sight of. This isnt the days of yore when Moss and Fangio were risking their lives just for the thrill of racing. There are millions of $ at stake here. It is more business then racing, so any advantage unfairly gained by the opposition will be pounced on. Its not sore losers on Ferraris' behalf, more like good business.
