^ Which was actually the 125hp F22A1, not one of the more powerful Accord EX/Prelude S spec levels. Not that it matters considering the main differences between all the F22As, the ECU and camshaft, are both modified; but just throwing that out there. You said "at most 140hp," when that car started out the furthest from.

When arguing about engine design, can't it be said that only Ferrari can top Honda? Even then, the 458 only beat the S2000's volumetric efficiency by 1hp. Natural aspiration is where it's at for me though, anyone can slap a turbo on an engine and make power.

The Renesis is very close to the F20c as well. I think the Renny is about 107% and the F20c is 112%

Either way, both are shockingly awesome number for mass-produced OEM road legal engines. Built rotaries (PP) and built Honda engines have both gone over 130% VE normally aspirated.

I'm of two minds. I love the feel of a high-revving, hectic motor. But there's no denying the effectiveness of a turbo with lots of low-end, especially on the racetrack.
Then go super.

And since we're on the topic of engine swaps, here's mine:

That was just a test-fit, pre-wiring. It's back out again at the moment, but it is a 2.3 litre (2255cc) supercharged, Miller-cycle V6. With the stainless manis, 2.5" downpipe, high flow cat, 2.5" exhaust and the Audi S4 coolers, we're thinking 260hp/260lbft - 220-230 of each stock, but the precats and very bendy exhaust are quite restrictive and the coolers can heat soak quite quickly under high loads.

Water injection? Or more simply... intercooler spray? Should help with the soak, seeing as you don't have much space for heat-exchangers in there.

Been wondering how Marvin was doing. Glad to see it's still coming along. :D

We've got a pair of Audi S4 intercoolers in the garage already :D
