ive got 1 million credits using the european championship trick, and im thinking of buy the jag. any other car that someone would recomend instead?

I wouldn't recommend buying it, unless you absolutely have to have it right now. I've never driven the car (in GT3 anyway), but the $1,000,000 cars usually aren't worth it: you could win better prize cars or the car itself in championships. Of course you could always use the trick of saving your game then buying the car. If you don't think its worth it, you could just load up your game that you just saved and have that extra million dollars.

uh, the Jag isn't 1 mil... it's around 750,000 if I recall correctly...

anyway, the best cars are the ones that you win... however, if you just have to buy a car now, I would say that almost all of the 1 million dollar cars are relatively equivelent to each other. In fact, since most are featured in the "A" class in Arcade Mode, i would suggest that you just try out all of them there and see what your preference is.

im aiming to try and beat the allstar race in the amateur league, would the camaro race car outdo the competition, (it's 993 hp now)

Well I suggest racing for a prize car of equal or better caliber instead. But if its necessity to buy a $1,000,000 car, then I can't tell you which because I can't check my game and see which cars go for $1,000,000. I know the Escudo can be bought for a million, but that would require some expert tuning to be competitive at other courses besides the Test Course and Super Speedway. (Or you could use a seemingly popular method, the "rubber-band trick", to use the Escudo to win the Super Speedway endurance race and have the possibility of winning an F1 car. I wouldn't do that, but thats me :))

The Camaro Race car should be ok in the Amateur League All Stars. I used the TVR Speed 12 myself.

I really liked the Camaro when I won it (it was my first Race Car) and the only time it let me down was in the PRO League World Championship. I won the series but the Camaro just wasn't fast enough on some tracks. If I remember right I skipped the Test Track race (too boring), I got rammed on the last corner of SSR11 reverse and came second. On Tokyo 246 the R390 and 787B left me for dead, the Camaro just couldn't get near them and I lost by about 20 seconds. On the upside, in the final race (Grand Valley Reverse) I lapped half the field and beat the R390 by about 40 seconds - man that felt good!

alright whatever you do...don't buy the jag...

instead, go get yourself a fully tuned skyline R34 VspecII (1040+ horses).

uh-huh...man...so let my get this straight...u won a Speed 12 in the pro leagues and used it in amateur :thatsodd:

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! what european championship trick?????????? I wanna know about that, I can always use 1 million credits?? Please tell.

Rice Rocketeer, I won the Speed 12 in the Tuscan Challenge and I've used it for all kinds of races. I like the challenge of going up against proper race bodied cars in one that you really have to drive (that poor low end acceleration and torque oversteer takes some compensating for!).

Anyhow, I don't understand what've you got against the XJ220. She's very pretty and handles ok. I've only used the road car yet, not the race one you win so I can't comment on that but if the road car's anything to go by the race specced one should be great. I have to confess that I'm horribly biased though and generally only use British cars - I find the Japanese ones (especially the racers) are too easy to drive and take the fun out of it all.

I gotta agree the Jag road car is pretty awsome, but what is the trick to get the Million credits on the european championshipssSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

It's not a trick I've heard of, F1king, so unless Rice Rocketeer knows we'll just have to wait until Andy2005's online again and ask him.

Yes, it'd be nice if there was a way to make a million quickly. I just spent more than that buying and tuning up Aston Martins, Jags and Mercs to race against the PRO Dream Cars and it'd be cool to get the cash back without having to spend a couple of nights racing!

I've done most of the championships except for the F1 stuff and some of the rally and endurance races. I think my completion percentage is about 87% or something like that I like GT racing so I don't know if I'll ever get to 100% complete. The F1 cars are really easy to drive by all accounts (where's the fun in that?) and, I'll be honest, I trully stink at the rally side of things (in GT2, to my shame, I cheated horribly and just used the Escudo for most of the rally races!). Oh and there's a bunch of the Arcade I haven't done yet - we do a lot of multi-player championships and, as one of the group has done all the arcade (to unlock the tracks), I've never had to. I put most of my time into testing and tuning cars for the other guys.

As to Aston Martins and Jags, the Vanquish is the best of the former (with the DB7 being the most beautiful and the Vantage a big disappointment). Of the latter, you know already that I like the XJ220 but the XKR is great too. On Grand Valley (as far as I went tonight on the Dream Cars) it's a little better than the Vanquish (total time for 15 laps 29:00.210) and is an incredibly smooth drive once you've got your lines sorted out. She looks gorgeous on the replay too, swooping through the bends leaving squeeling LM race cars in her wake!

allu have to do is race the eurpean championship, get 1st in the first four races and save. enter the last race and quit out. u will win the championship and if u dont get the vertigo race car, reset the game and itll bring u back to after winning the fourth race. do this until u get the vertigo and sell it. this will give u 350,000cr in 20 min. then repeat. in an hour or so u will have a million credits

i won the american championship first (it was easier) and got the camaro race car. then i used it to blow away all the cars in the european championship :D

Thanks for the tip Andy2005. Don't know whether I'll be able to make use of it tho. It'd hurt my win percentage (which has taken a dent anyhow because I have a bad habit of quiting Test Track races - far too dull to wear my cars out on!). I'll have to think on it a while - might not be too painful to do it every now and again when I need a quick cash boost.

u could do the fifth race too and there is still a chance u get the vertigo, but if u don't get it just reset and redo the 5th race if u dont want it to ruin ur win average

whats the european championship trick?

Andy2005, oh yeah! Stupid me, I forgot that the races in that championship are only 3 laps - no big deal. Sometimes I guess you just miss the obvious!

The Vertigo race car would have plastered the Amateur All Star AI, I think. But anyway. Any race car or well-tuned near race car should get you a win in the Amateur All Star race. I don't have the Jag Road Car, but won the Race version. It's ok, I guess, just not one of my preferred cars.

Personally I wouldn't touch the Jag with a large barge pole. Your far better off with a Skyline .

Mitsibushi 3000GT fully tuned is good to.

Later :D

Definatally the skyline, its just an awesome car. Try racing that car with asm off, its a monster!
