Tunes

To get the right ratios for the transmission

First, you must set initial final gear.
Second, you must set max speed.
Finally, you can set the regular final gear.

Reviews

I love reviews and believe they help any tuner become better,
because it lets us know what they need to work on.
So feel free to give a review on how well I am doing.

SNAIL [Spec] Racing

SNAIL Spec Racing is a great racing league with many amazing drivers and they all are very nice and very helpful.
They have all given me help on car control which has lead to this tuning garage.
Here is the link to their site.

SNAIL [GT1 Championship] Series

This series is for anyone who loves racing Gr.3 cars. We have many clean and helpful racers in this league that would love to help you tune you car if you don't have the skill to do so.
And you may do your own tunes as well.

I looked at the Snail link id like to have the opportunity to join. Unfortunately i saw that the races are on Oct 15th GTS release is the 17th. Im a bit confused on the matter ? It said to join to post a comment and wait, but if its for the older versions of GT i dont see the relations ? Im 100% interested and look forward to an opportunity in Snail GTS.

Thank you.

Yeah I should of mentioned that the links are both old. But the new ones should be up soon and will be updated as soon as they are created. Sorry for the inconvenience

Somehow 200KPH is not the proper speed, the range wont do. Also how do you get the "Initial Final Gear"? Can't seem to find that option

EDIT: The closest range while keeping lowest speed is 280KMh, setting 5th gear at 1.049.

I'll try to switch to MPH to try to configure this setup, then send the proper Kmh

Well what initial final gear is needs a little explaining. I do the transmission swap on my tunes and to do that you must set the final gear all the way to the right (Initial Final Gear), then you move the top speed all the way to the left, usually 124 MPH or 200 kph, then set gears 1st-6th, finally once you get through all those steps we can set the final gear to its actual position.

And I checked on the Vantage switched the MPH to kph and it gave me 200 kph.

This seems to work fine for me. Really enjoy your tunes. Is there any particular reason why there's a big difference in ride height om every car? I think it makes your tuning style unique but I wonder as to why you do.

Personally I came across it by accident by just messing with stuff on the Aston GT3. I was at Brands Hatch for my GT1 Series during a practice round and nothing sensible would work so I tried lowering the front and raises the rear more than usual and it worked like a charm. That same philosophy works on most FR cars and MR cars to an extent
