January DLC announced - Out now!

Downloading now. Some fun cars to play around with in this pack. Let's see if any of them can be better than my E28 M5 on virus...
 
I'm downloading it now. Really want to try out the Pagani and Lamborghini--everything else looks good too!

So far played the FIAT coupe standard with no upgrades...yet...

but then took the Dodge omni for a spin.....hmmmm i likey.

So upgraded it to max S class, with no tunning of the settings this thing can handle well!!

wow whether the chassis in real life was this good i dont know, but wow it can take extra horse power no probs!!

I reckon this will be a leaderboard car soon... may be wrong..but watch this space...i think i'll hate this car soon.... lol..

Just need to be careful with the Pinto.

If the AI does its' usual rear-ending maneuvers, we should get to see Forza 4's fire and explosion effects! ;-)

If they can put the Pinto in Forza 4, then we should see other DLC we'd never expect.

I'm on the threads about the Huayra. Looks futuristiclistic (if that even is a word ;) ) but on the other side of the coin, stock it does not handle exceptionally (kind of like the Aventador stock, or a change in driving style) . I don't mind the handling so much because I can adjust to it, but that sound........

That turbocharger :indifferent: :indifferent: creates such a loud whine. The menacing raw brute V12 is just buried in it. Usually Forza is really good with sounds but I think they were off this time. I think I'll give it another shot tonight, maybe my ears are busted up :ill:.

I'm heading to the vinyl area to create a "FLAMMABLE" decal to stick on the rear bumper.
 
Merged the two January Jalopnik threads together - figured I needed something to do while my pack downloads ;)
 
The Fiat is such a wallowy drive. Need to be careful with it because on the Nord at least, it was happy to slide across the tarmac in 4-wheel-drift mode and it's quite humourous to bounce off a high curb and see the nose dive.

Despite that car being in and liking big American sedans, there's little to love in this pack, for my tastes. I already photographed the S5 with the RS5 bumpers, so could we see a pattern emerging with the cars that have new OE bumpers becoming DLC? The RX8 did, as did the Scirocco.
 
Can anyone see this months Rival Events?

They aren't showing up at all on my end and neither is the JJ Pack.

Officially, anyway.

Check out more videos of the car, I just watched one where they took it out for a run and the thing sounds like its trying to suck the oxygen from earth.

Think you are right about the turbo whine, sounds pretty loud to me as well.
 
i was told that in every month dlc pack there is a free car
The December DLC had the 2011 Mazda RX-8 R3 as the free vehicle.
i had a look last night and was about to down load the free car but its still asking me for credits to download. why is this when its a free car.
 
I really don't much like that Pagani. I've never been overly fond of the Zonda, but each successive variant did look better and better, but this new one is bordering on fugly. The formless rear, the horrid exposed carbon 'mouth'. Eugh.

And the way it drives, if that's anything like the real car, people are going to scare themselves witless. Don't think front-end grip had been high on the priority list lmao.
 
It's fun to drive in a free-run sense, but I was using it for rivals and my style of driving hunts out power-oversteer like a truffle hound!

Watch the #1 time. car never goes below 4th gear. Best way to keep traction. The car has so much torque acceleration is never an issue.
 
What's funny is how I was all anxious to get home from my dad's house last night just to download this DLC and try out some of the cars... and when I got home, I set the DLC to download but went off playing FIFA for like 1.5hrs. When I did load up FM4, I went off buying a Lambo, an MR2 and some american muscle, modded, and not one of these was the DLC cars, nor did I even drive them!!! I went right back to FIFA12 because of their worse-than-crack-addiction Ultimate Team mode, which ya.. I know is nothing but a cash grab
lol

Looking forward to the Pagani the most. Heard it sounds awesome
