The first hints for January's DLC pack were in the latest WIR: http://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/wir_1_3_14

Just to tease a bit though, we can tell you that there is a wide range of amazing cars in this pack. Duh! But really, here are a couple clues regarding a couple standouts: this ride utilizes “lightness“ like no other, and is destined to be an autocross weapon, the other is most at home on the international circuits of the days of yore and has been driven by an elite cast of legendary pilots.

My initial thought is the MX-5 Superlight, though the optimist in me is thinking Caterham. I have no idea on the second one.

Second one sounds interesting. Trying to think of an old race car that wasn't a Porsche that was well known on the circuits & had many famous drivers. Old Mercedes racer?

For some reason that second hint is putting the CLK GTR into my head, but that's probably not it.

I would die a very happy man if we got the McLaren MP4/4

That would be sweet. We already have two classic F1 cars, and Turn 10 must be aware of the high regard people hold for Senna so one of Senna's old cars must have at least crossed their minds. Being able to do open-wheel is new to Forza, so it would also be another great chance to utilize that.

For something out of the ordinary, the 'lightness' and nimble car could be the Renault Twizy F1. Would be a cool car to drive.

"lightness"

Taking this literally...

Hints? I hate hints. The DLC ships this mont, tell us what's in the pack already! /jk

And now, if you won't mind, I will post my speculation and wild guessing about what cars could these hints hint to.

But really, here are a couple clues regarding a couple standouts:<...>

So, those will be the two cars that will sell this DLC. One of them will probably be the "cover car", the other should be a very popular and often-requested ride.

<...>this ride utilizes “lightness“ like no other, and is destined to be an autocross weapon<...>

So, this is a car that puts a lot of emphasis on lightness; the fact that it should also be an "autocross weapon" leads me to believe it should be a very grip-capable car. The Alfa Romeo 4C is a popular car with a sporty, but not too powerful 1750 TBI engine (the same found in the Giulietta) which uses extensively carbon fiber in its construction and is the result of an Alfa Romeo project to create a 1000 kgs sportscar.

<...>the other is most at home on the international circuits of the days of yore and has been driven by an elite cast of legendary pilots.

This one is a bit harder. The fact that it's been driven by an elite cast of pilots leads me to believe it may be an endurance racer. An old endurance racer. Driven by a cadre of then well-known and now legendary racers. I'm quite inclined to believe it may be any Group 6 (or even a Group 7) racecar, but it could also be a Group C car like the Sauber-Mercedes C11 that was driven in the 1991 WSC by drivers such as Michael Schumacher or its predecessor, the C9, which was featured in FM4.

It could also be the BMW M1 Procar, which was raced in a one-maker series alongside the F1 Championship in 1979 and 1980 and saw drivers such as Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Alan Jones and Hans-Joachim Stuck compete. I know it would make a lot of people happy, me included.

I think that we should also keep in mind T10 got a lot of criticism for releasing a DLC which contained for the most part cars that were in FM4. I think that if they were planning to release a DLC with 7 cars out of 10 that weren't new to the series they may have changed their plans.

I am still hoping, that we will see some more TVR's in a future pack. But if Turn 10 added at least 1-2 TVR's in January's DLC pack, then I would be very happy.

I would die a very happy man if we got the McLaren MP4/4

I would also love to see the MP4/4.... Hopefully we get more classic(more modern classics that is) throughout the DLC releases. Hopefully some we can throw on track with the E21!

....and I would also love to see some more P class wonders as well! Love to get more cars to rival the 787 on the track too.

The fact they emphasised lightness, then I'd eat my virtual hat if it isn't a Seven, either Caterham's or Lotus'.

It looks like there's a title update required before you'll be able to access the new cars, even though you can download them now. The update should be out later today.

That's dumb. I guess they're operating like Forza Horizons DLC model by putting in some new and some old. Annoying thinking that those cars were already modeled for FM5
