HI guys, this is my first post, im just about to finish the professional races, but looking back the only race i have missed is the Japanese Classics on beginner.

what car did you use?

thanks again

EVO VI TM '99

But its waaaay to easy with this thing

Couldn't have used that because it's a Classic Japanese race. Cars have to be before '79 or '68 or something similar if I remember correctly.

ah, had the 90 in mind with the rx-7 on the pic

i used a 1600 lancer for the classic then :D
pretty good car. but the b-spec will struggle if you dont tune it

Use one of these things (old school Skyline) but there's no need to throw a bunch of mods at it. Mid grade suspension, tires, and an oil change will walk the competition.

I came here to ask the same question. It doesn't appear you can buy a qualifying car from the Dealerships. I couldn't find a qualifying car at the Used Car lot. So, I guess you have to wait for one to show up in the Used Car lot, or find a place to win one? Does anyone know where a qualifying car may be won?

I kept watching for a car in the used lot, and a Nissan 280Z turned up. I just added oil, and it won a bit too easily. I'm still watching for a 240Z, just to add one.

buzii - The used lot rotates, typically adding six cars after every race or so. If you do a race and go back, you'll see six new cars added, and the previous ones have moved down.

Cheers Guys i ended up winning the Supercar Nostalgia Cup consequently winning the DOME DOME-ZERO CONCEPT '78 no need to tune it just eats the tarmac in that race!

its a real pitty you cant get it looking like that :(

I used the Honda S800 RSC Race Car.

Brilliant little thing, only 100HP (after oil change) I even used it in the classic car cup. Beating much more powerful cars on La Sarthe, even holding them off on Hunadieres is so fun.

I used a stock Mazda 110S (I even forgot to change the oil... On a rotary! That'll not go well...)
