Japanese tuning car challenge

I was thinking while doing a speed run, why dont we organise a Japanese tuner car challenge. Then I went to Tsukuba Circuit in world maps, and set a time in my Amuse CarbonR, where the first time was 54.880 seconds. I changed the settings and a few laps later I had set a time of 52.169

So if you would like to enter, just post the lap time and i will add it to the leaderboard (after checking you haven broken any of the rules)

The Circuit for this round: "Tsukuba circuit", found under world tracks.

ANY car/car company notated with the * is a road car unless otherwise. Cars made by the manufacturers tuner are road cars

2) [2.1] the times will be seperated into 2 catergories Road (1) and Tuner/Race car (2)
[2.1.2] This will allow clear and even competition between the cars and categories

3) All lap times and speeds must be posted with:
a) Your lap time picture or a link to your picture
b) Your car and its power in Hp (acessable under the units in the options menu)
c) And if you have read the rules or not (I will need extra proof if necessary.)
also, dont forget your nickname; EG speedemon08

(I am currently working on a webpage for the speeds/laptimes)

there will be a challenge cup, with five rounds this year

Just take a picture of the session recored using a camera/cameraphone and give me a a link or upload it here


by the way, there will be five rounds and points involved, so the more you race the more points you get :lol:

even i'l take part! my latest time is 51.812. that was the last time i recoreded before i posted this thread.

Is nitrous and TCS, etc allowed?.

I just did 53.674 in the GT1 will post up pics in around a hour if time not beaten.

It just happened that I did beat it, without NOS and TCS. 50.400.

I just got a 50.800. thats a tad freaky. :nervous:
 
Using the S2000 GT1 I posted a time of 50.711. and I feel that I can beat that and maybe you 50.400. betanumerical :p lol Will post proof pic when I get home from work later

i'm 100% sure I can get under <50s, i just have to get better at the last corner and cross the finish line a bit faster.
 
Yeah I too had trouble on a couple corners. That S2k is awesome though. I thought I'd blits it with the Subie, but no way the S2k drove rings around it
 
I just got 51.552 with the Opera S2000. The settings transfer over effortlessly from the GT1 its practically the same car except its a little slower in a straight line and NA instead of Turbo.

by the way, the rules posted are the only rules that you cant break almost anything is allowed

ive done 0'50.988 in the superautobachs mr-s. its very quick

will update the leaderboard soon

So super soft race tyres are allowed? I take thats what everybody else is using...

yes they are.

i've done a 49.510 in the super touring car on hards. i was over the moon.
that would be almost impossible in gt3, as i found out today....

some people can do fast times in certain cars like s2000 gt1, so the jury is out on this one

Oh by the way, it says that round 5 for this "challenge cup" is Hong Kong Reverse. Are you ******* INSANE??? I've never even driven that. Otherwise, i look forward to it. Don't mean to criticise;)

i never driven it either untill the other day. its not that bad.

havent quite decided the cutoff date yet, so just be aware.
 
Good to see you're interested. There are no power restrictions whatsoever. But, you can only use the cars mentioned in Post #1. You also need to tell us how much power the car has, and send a pic of the best lap time in the session record screen. Good Luck!
 
I'm surprised nobody's done a 48 in the Bathurst yet...

I'm not a good enough driver for it, but...

No problem, fellow Australian! Always a pleasure, even though I cant submit any times. Hopefully this thread will reach a lot of ears before long!
