Well that's come up rather well. You should be proud of that and I personally commend the originality.
The wing section is nice but doesn't quite flow with the cockpit base ending before it. Just missing something. However you've done a great job so far.
Thanks for posting.
I think a set NASCAR, NHRA, Etc tire(s) to place back by wing would be kinda interesting.
Thank's man! Already thinking of the next one, but I still have some time before starting to build a new one, for sure will be bigger, pc and triple-screen friendly...
Any suggestions on butkicker setups? I'm looking into the simulation kit, any thoughts?
Oh a "next one" 👍
For the best tactile experience, find a bargin AV receiver that supports 4ohms. Many new ones support 6ohms and that still should be okay. Start with a pair of Aura Pro, their cheap but good for their money. Run them in stereo with one each side of the seat and gradually add more to get surround tactile.
You will be impressed.
trk29Rig turned out well. Good Job!
Are you talking about running the tactile out of the all the speaker outputs?
L,R,C,LR,RR?

Stereo he said. That is two channel. Left full range. Right full range. You after that full range and only two channels cause you want the two devices to pick up more.
Thank's for all the info Latte! You really are GTP's cockpit building Godfather!
As every project it will evolve and will never be 100% completed. Looking into getting me a budget friendly shaker/buttkicker, a budget PC dedicated for sim racing games(iRacing) and will be ordering a set of Club Sport Pedals in the coming weeks, so please if you got any suggestions on this items I'd like to read you!
Where's the beer holder? I like the suggestion about rims in the rear. Oh and remove the Screen base, looks odd hanging out in thin air, perhaps use the then-empty mount to install your center speaker directly under the Screen.
As I suspected, that center support looks scary for 'the boys'... Huevo-slicer...![]()

Yes
Okay not to go to far off topic here but to be brief.
Stereo is a big step up over a mono tactile setup just as it is with speakers. To feel in-game sounds on the left or right is more engrossing than just a shaking within the seat. This is the beginning of experiencing directional tactile matching what you see in-game with what you hear to what you now feel.
My Cobra seat currently has 6.1 tactile working directly from the multichannel audio and using different Tactile brands of units and models. I found certain brands had particular advantages for the different channels and my preferences.
The benefit of "Surround Tactile" is that you feel multiple things at once from the various independent channels. Yet all combined they produce a very engrossing experience with the surround sound.
Example of a typical in-game scene from SHIFT 2.
Rumble strips on the left tyres = felt on the left of the seat.
Car bashing me on the right hand side going wide = felt on the right of the seat.
Exhaust backfire as braking and changing down gear = surround tactile in my back.
General engine noise and ambience = felt in both left/right surround tactile on the side of the seat.
Varying engine rev tones = felt from centre of seat from the centre channel tactile underneath.
Low bass deep effects from all of the above = felt throughout seat from the LFE tactile.
