The Jensen C-V8 was the successor to the 541, and the predecessor to the famous Inteceptor and FF.
It was introduced in 1962, powered by a 305bhp 361ci Chrysler V8 mated to a Chrysler TorqueFlite
automatic. It's performance was generally praised, but opinions on the styling were divided due to the slanted headlight treatment. The recessed light pods were supposed to have been finished off with perspex covers (like a Jaguar E-Type) which would have improved aerodynamics and the styling but these were deleted late in the design process when it was too late to change the shape of the wings. In 1963, the Mk.II was introduced featuring several improvements over the Mk.I During the Mk.IIs production run, a manual gearbox option was introduced, as well as a more powerful 383ci
engine. In 1965 then, the Mk.III was introduced which featured a redesigned front end with smaller headlights and other imrovements.

Definitely this should be in the game together with the Jensen Interceptor and the ultimate performance Jensen - the GKN FFF100.

The Jensen CV8 had very dated 1950's styling which is why Jensen went to Vignale for the Interceptor - they recognised that they needed a more modern style. However, the CV8 with its fibreglass body had much better performance than the Interceptor which followed. It was one of the fastest saloons on the road and only bettered by expensive exotica such as Ferrari four seaters.

The later Interceptor was less of a Bruiser and more of a Cruiser than the CV8.

Vote for the ultimate Jensen here - the fabulous GKN FFF100 - holder of the 1972 road car 0-100-0mph record:

And don't forget to vote for the beautiful Jensen Interceptor here - this needs to be back in the game:
