Pitted, lost the lead, and got it back when the Viper pitted.

Margin of victory was about 30 seconds and I never lapped another car. This was a tight, close race with lots of lead changed!

Wow, I really get easy competition with the Raybrig. The only one I thought would challenge me was a Camaro, yet that thing finished fourth behind a XJ220 and a Z concept. I ended up lapping all the competition and even lapping the Lister twice. But I got a penalty that probably cost me some time. Lost my concentration on worn tires and hit a wall. Im going to try again today. I have done my math and I know my pit strategy is as good as it can get. Good luck to all in the race.

Has any GT300 beaten the Mugen? This thing KILLS me ... I just raced my ASS OFF, took the lead half way through Lap #1 and widened the gap for several more laps, but the minute it breaks out fo the pack it gains a second on me every lap from that point onwards.

I just had a GREAT race, but he took the lead on lap #7 and even though I chased him for the remainder of it, the minute he hits that straight and esses, he just left me standing and after that I was fighting for 2nd.

Had a great fight with a Mitsubishi Touring Car from laps 23 onwards ... he took 2nd place, and I regained it when he pulled out of the pits absolutely dead level with me ... lord did we tussle through that first corner. Great fight for a lot of laps.

If only I could figure out how to beat that damned Mugen.

On the main straight of the 7th lap he caught me ... we fought through the first corner, but he carried more speed and had the inside line for the esses ... what a fun fight.

Great pics and a great race, Koly! It is good to see that we are having much stiffer competition on this track. During my race there was a time where I didn't know where I would be able to place. Fortunately, I won, but by a small margin.

Sagaris GTB, do you have the AI difficulty set at 10? I am only asking because in the first race of this series when we had the AI set at 8 we had the same cars that you are now racing against.

Near the start finish line. I had to go there one day to clear up some immigration issues. I walked out and looked around and felt deja vu. I have been here before.
 
I won my race by about thirty seconds as well, I think. The field consisted of the Falken GT-R, the Alfa DTM, the Calibra DTM, the Impreza Super Touring, and the Delta S4 rally car, with the rally car in second. Fortunately, it pitted thrice, whilst the rest of the field only pitted twice.
 
Whuh? How come I'm getting a completely different field? I've started this thing 4 times now and not seen a rally car anywhere!
 
Speedy_Samurai, I have it set to ten.
This is actually easily explainable. I have to tune up my car while the rest of you have to tune yours down. The AI is determined before the quick tune-up so I get slower comps.

IO did the race again and got the same comps except the Z was replaced by a Ford GT. Didnt matter though and I won by a lap again. In fact I improved my totoal time by a grand total of, 1 second. The XJ220 finished second again which is a great testament to that car. Its heavier and less powerful than the Chevy or Ford yet it beat them both by a nice margin.
 
i hate this circuit, i hated it before now i hate it more, i suck at it......i need a better track to drive on :lol: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
 
I'm off to jump_ace's house today for all day driving, but I won't have time to re-run this race. Time Submitted.
 
ive submitted about half an hour ago, i came 5th in the race :

when do we see the results?
 
I tried a completely different tire strategy this week, so I'm interested to see if it paid off :nervous: Koly I'll agree that Mugen is fast, though I took the lead on lap 1 after pitting I was usually about 6 seconds back. But I was running faster than him so I took the win in the end. The only tip I can give you is drive smooth on this track. There's an awesome rhythm to it and there are some corners (turns 4, 8, and the 9 & 10 complex) where the AI is just plain slow, so try to use that to your advantage.

I had a moment of pure terror on lap 10 or so coming out of turn 13 (before the hairpin) I bumped the outside wall and wiggled my way down the track toward turn 14 at 170kph+ holding on for dear life :scared: I managed to keep it off the wall and avoid the penalty, but I'll remember that one 👍

:lol: 34 for laps of this nightmare is enough for me...i couldnt get to grips with the right left kink halfway through the circuit.

I like that track but it wasnt my day at all :/
I finished race only once. And i finished at 3 place :/ although i didnt had any penalties o_O
I restarted race 1 time (1 change of cars in the race) cos at first time i had some crazy Pagani C12 which was very **** fast..

2nd place in my race, 2 10 second penalties....., and finished the 2 last laps with tires more red then my freakin car......

dont really wanna re-do the race.... but i will be 25-30 seconds off pace if i dont.
 
improved 10 seconds... but with a flawless race, i came 2nd still
no match vs. the BMW Mclaren down the straights...

only + 0'12.017 off of first tho

Only ran twice for this round, decent time but nothing incredible. I see maybe a good 10 secs possible to shave down but I'm done anyway.
 
Finished my race, ended up 3rd overall. Actually not to bad concidering the AI is so fast on this track. 3rd try to get a time i liked, took off 18 seconds :dopey: . Clean race w/no penalties (finally). Seemed the penalty thing was weird in this race :crazy: , would give a penalty for a light tap but not for a hard hit, varied race to race. Will be submitting my time shortly, viewing the race for fast lap time and pleasure. :cheers:

I have 2 hours and half left, will forget DFP and play it on DS2. I have to first adapt 100% to the DFP, im like 80% now. :)
