Moscow, Russia. This is Boris Yeltsin reporting for RedTV, your Russian sister station of LosingTV. Here we are in the only plush valley in all of Russia, complete with a fantastical racetrack called Grand Valley Speedway. Tonight we will be interviewing up and coming Kenny Schabow. Here he comes out of his Woodone Toyota Supra right now.

"Hello, Mr. Schabow?"

"Hi."

"How are you feeling?"

"To be honest, I feel like someone slipped some Ex-Lax into my wine, imported from the fields of Chamonix."

"That's too bad! I hope that stain will come out."

"That's what the car wash and refresher are for. Anyway, would you like an interview?"

"Yes!"

"That'll be 20 Roubles."

*mumbles while paying*

"So, what would you like to know?"

"Well, Mr. Schabow I think our listeners would love to know if you are single or not."

"Are you sure it's just not you, Boris?"

*pause* "No, I've been getting quite a few calls from inquiring comrades."

"They'll be pleased to know I'm already importing five Russian brides. Anything else you would like to ask me?"

"How do you feel about winning by 2 thousandths?"

"To be honest, I'm very happy about my first win, even if it is only qualifying. Glad I didn't shift wrong for that last 6th gear."

"Yes, yes. Very glad. Are you at all worried that the Seiko Timers show that you lost ~ .1 from T2 to T3?"

"No, not in the least bit. I was distracted by a huge rack coming into the last turn."

"  "

"THEY OPENED UP A HUGE TIRE RACK YOU PERVERTED COMMUNIST!"

"My bad."

*footsteps* "Oh hi, Peyton. Peyton, this is my Russian friend, Mr. Yeltsin."

"LONG LIVE MOTHER RUSSIA!"

"LONG LIVE MOTHER RUSSIA!"

"Kenny, I picked up a Little Red Book at the library. Look at this quote - "You can build a throne with bayonets, but you can't sit on it for long." What do you think it means?"

"I don't know, Peyton."

"How dare you insult me this way! That book is heretical! Don't you know Mao is the terrorist leader behind every major recent attack?!?! Russia doesn't negotiate with terrorists. It destroys them! Die, Mao!"

*Boris rips book into little pieces*

"You f'in owe me 8 roubles you weak alcoholic!"

*Boris hands 8 Roubles to Peyton*

"Peyton, let us go traverse Siberia. I'm in the mood for some sliding on ice."

*bottle of Ex-Lax slips out of Peyton's coat*

In other news today, Chairman Mao has expressed concern that Uzbekistan rebels are pillaging Mongolian rice farmers.

oh, god, how many pits i´m going to make...

where´s jean todt when you need him?

dammit, guess i´ll have to figure that out all by myself...

sice its only 30 laps we shouldn't have to worry about hard tires, softer tires should have an advantage. 👍

4 WOW, that is sad, i can do about 7 good laps before i got to pit, yet what really slowed me down is the other JGTC cars. It's hard to pass them when u try not to get the penalties. It's scary, and my hands start shakin' :nervous:

I can do 8 on rh/rh and 6 on rm/rh,

rm last 5 laps (just barely) on the back.

This is going to be tricky. :) I have a feeling my 15 minutes of fame are now over and I will come plummeting back to earth.

I just did my first race. I will be gone for a week starting sometime during the weekend. Either I or Peyton will pm it to you, Viper. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do another race.

I'm going to need a backup for at least Round 7 qualifiying. I don't care who - anyone.

i can get 8 to 9 laps on RH/RH in my JGTC. This track eats tires to shreds. I also get only 5 laps on RM up front and RH on the back.

OMg this is not good. I can only get 4 laps out of RM/RH. on the end of lap four the fronts are nearly cooked. Arg!

i may be missing something but why would you run a harder compound on the rear? These cars are set up pretty well with no adjustments and the balance is pretty neutral, atleast on my car.

also, I can get a good 6 laps out of RM/RM

I just realized that my total time was only about 10 secs off of my estimation after tire testing. I am starting to get alot better at this whole race strategy nonsense :)

BTW I used RH/RH for 9, RH/RH for 9, RM/RM for 6, RM/RM for 6. probably shouldn't tell everyone my strategy but I don't really give a toss if you use it or not.

My Amemiya always uses more tires in front, so the combos I run with are either RM-RS or RH-RM. Only Tsukuba wet destroyed the rear tires faster, but that's pretty normal.

that makes sense kind of, wouldn't it just be easier not to use the same tires front and rear and not have so much more understeer and just pit a few laps earlier? I don't know I guess I see the idea but I think starting with new tires and having good balance that will slightly fade to more understeer and pitting sooner would be quicker than starting with more understeer that will continue to get worse but staying out for longer.
