RULES : Standard Online Racing rules for clean racing applied when ever possible.

Race :

2 wheels on track at all times
Rumble Strips are part of the track
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No Cheating of any kind

I will ask you to follow me step by step for the settings so that everything is clear and understood by everyone.

GT4 Main Menu ---> Options ---> Arcade

No. Of Laps : 40
Tire Wear : Strong
Driving Aids : None
Penalty : Forced Pit Entry
Time Limit : None


GT4 Main Menu ---> Arcade Mode ---> Single Race ---> Select Track ---> Choose Your Car

Driving Options

Transmission : Your Choice
Driving Aids : None
Tires : Racing Hard (really important, the AI must start on RH tires)
Difficulty : 10 for both GT500 and GT300


Quick Tune-Up

Power : Enter The Given Number
Weight : Enter The Given Number
Top Speed : Your choice
Driving Aids : None
Transmission : Your Choice
Tyre Type : Racing
Front Tires : RH, RM, RS, RSS
Rear Tires : RH, RM, RS, RSS

*Michelin informed us that the Super Hard Tires weren't safe to drive this season, hence the RSH been banned.*

after another good qualify, will i get another crappy race? (with lost of time running on red tires?) we don´t know yet, but this time i´ll try to race at least twice to get a decent time...

@ kennythebomb - your Supra rocks! i ran with him in laguna for a few laps and it is a great car... a bit better than my NSX...
 
Hey DRIVEN, sorry about the mixup in qualy, I honestly don't know what happened. I've been so busy and I could've sworn today was Wednesday :eek:

Anyway, maybe you're happy about it, but for me I feel like I've let you down...things are so close and I love competition, and now I may be slammed with a 10 second penalty :( We'll see if viper accepts my explanation and is feeling magnanimous today :)

I've just found out that my Mp3 player works as a max drive :eek:. I can upload a gamesave now, but do you want me to race EV4L?

I've had the best car all along. If I put twice the time into this and gave it my best shot every week I'd probably be winning or close to it.
 
I am not going to be able to compete in this race so count me out, sorry but I just don't have the time now, but it is the last one so it shouldn't be too bad. thanks for organizing a great series!
 
Anyone knows how to make the cars available in arcade mode when you use a save game with a full garage included? They don't show up like they use to in arcade.

Uh no, the way I work I think about a decision first then I come back to clear up the situation. Because it takes two days to get an answer it means I'm running away from someone...seriously?

No no, I was just concerned that things were a little time-critical. I would like to know about round 8 at least before time submissions if possible (which for me is about 8 hours before the deadline due to time zones), and about the next season before the slots are all gone (I don't want to put my name down until I've heard from you).

Anyway, no problem, just saw you online and no responses to my PMs, I thought maybe something was up. I'll await your responses then, thanks :)
 
Positive : I can now upload my replays :)
Negative : I lost my replays for the current season, currupted MC blocks and had to format :guilty:

So I guess I'll start to upload them for next season.
 
Im out for a weekend so - time submited.
Unfortunately i met AI cars alot of times during the race that i submited :/
Also few times i overdit and went out of track :(( totaly AI cars and bad driving costed me about 20~30 sek :(
 
Too many pit stops and too many laps with red tires :crazy: , but I can't redo, time submitted
 
Ack! Okay, two words for GT5: blue flags. I swear every time one of the stupid AI backmarkers barges me off the track, trying not to deviate from the line its team boss told it to drive, I wanna go all San Andreas on his ass. GT5 needs either blue flags or drive-bys, I don't care which :irked:

Well I think my time mixup for qualy and the resulting penalty will cost me the GT300 top spot, but either way, I've had a great time racing you DRIVEN -USA-, so may the best driver win :cheers:

Time submitted, not a great race for me. I'm not sure what it is about this track but I just couldn't find a consistent pace. I would either be too conservative and lose time or I'd be too aggressive, losing time by sliding at least or going into the dirt at worst.

Add to the fact that you have to be patient with the AI cars and wait for the right moment before trying to pass, which is frustrating.

I would just like to add my thanks to eatsviper for organising a fantastic series, this is the sort of racing I love to do in GT4. Bring on season 1 (or 2, or whatever) :)

Did my race right now, few minutes to deadline, was a perfect race until lap 39 in wich i stupidly spin while braking, got 1 wheel on sand and that cost me 6 seconds. Overall i was perfect.

Hope to be on podium at least, and also to get the championship title. :)
 
Don't worry, you've got the title. Even if anyone else ran the table with pole, fastest lap and the win, they still couldn't beat your total. So congratulations. You deserve it. And when you say you were perfect, that really means no hope for anyone else. I think you need a Honda next season. ;)

DRIVEN, I'm praying for you man. I can't believe it's this close in GT300. I just hope I did enough for us to get the Teams' championship.

Nah don´t start these discussions again Ben, i said nothing, saying that i hope to get the title is inside sportsman behavior. I just thought i wouldn´t finish the race inside deadline, as i finished it like 30 mins before it.

So i just said that, nothing more. If u wanna complain about me, just PM me. 👍
