This sounds really interesting.

Does Tsakuba Wet allow more than 2 racers on the track in arcade mode? The track is pretty easy with only one other car, but it provides a very different racing experience, which is cool.

Yes my friend, I am fully aware of the only 2 cars at the same time for Tsukuba wet but there's no way I'm taking it out of the race lineup. :sly: Do not forget that we will be running on a "Penalty - Forced Pit Entry" system here and you know like me how earlier you need to brake for each turns when it's wet. With 6 cars on the track at the same time people would bump the AI cars all the time and get penalties pretty often. With only one other car on the racetrack you can concentrate more on your driving for that particular race. 👍

Oh and if someone with a PAL version of the game wants to look around at the car list for both class and tell me if I'm missing anything (I know there's the Esso Supra).

Ok I would like to be in:

Gt 500

But i have a question - I dont have replay device - so im assuming that I will have to buy one ? Its serious qestion - not everywhere everything is cheap :(
Other question - when do we start ? The time that RL series starts ? (hm i dont know when it starts ;) )

No need for a replay device for the moment, we are running on the "thrust" system. If some are here to bull**** around and send false time believe me it won't be long they're going to get caught, and you get caught once with me and it's all over for you in my series.

I'm working on finalizing the racing schedule and Round 1 (given we have enough interested people) should start either the 20th or 27th of June.

I'm in! This looks like the most realistic Gran Turismo racing series I've ever seen. Two drivers, shared drives and success ballast. Just like the real JGTC/Super GT. Best of luck to you on this venture and I'm behind you 100%. BTW, love the schedule (even though I hate the new Fuji).

Well, if the time ever comes for a device, I have digital camera that I can take a picture for proof, or if record the replay for about 30 seconds.




And villian, just be sure to record the replay just in case.
 
theres 1 issue with the qualifying, people can purposely go slow~ to not get a weight penalty

since there isnt a reward for qualifying

There is a reward check the Point System :) 2pts for 1st and 1pt for both 2nd and 3rd. Believe me after only 2 races you know who are the fast drivers and if they're backing off on purpose or not. Like I said in the first post don't take me for an ignorant fool guys. :trouble:
 
i would like to participate in this series, but unfortunately it seems to be around the same timeframe as mine. but if you want me to help with some testing just PM me, i would be more than happy to help with another series that is a real life simulation series.

No problemo I always save my replays - the wrs runs, leaderbord runs (2 so far but not submited yet;) ), fun runs, 400m runs, everything... and I will post them the day that I will buy replay device :) I hope that someone will like to watch them :P

I can aslo rec some vids with my friends camera.

I really want to run this series but I'm pretty helpless if we only have 5 teams! :ouch:

Do you have any problem with an individual running both GT300 and GT500? Or perhaps even running two cars in one group?

I'd like the following, listed in order of preferance.

GT300: RE Amemiya

GT500: Mobil NSX
GT500: Calsonic Skyline
GT500: Woodone Tom's Supra

Well if it comes down that we are only enough to run one driver per team I'll have no choice but to allow it. We could end up probably with 2 per teams but each driver in a different class to cover both (one GT300 driver and one GT500 driver in the same team). I see your choice but right now with the current system are you more interested in the GT300 or GT500 class to race?

I'll wait for your answer to put you up. 👍
