RULES : Standard Online Racing rules for clean racing applied when ever possible.

Race :

Minimum of 2 wheels on track
Rumble Strips are part of the track
No intentional AI contact
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No Cheating of any kind

I will ask you to follow me step by step for the settings so that everything is clear and understood by everyone.

Driving Aids : None
Penalty : Forced Pit Entry
Time Limit : None


GT4 Main Menu ---> Arcade Mode ---> Single Race ---> Select Track ---> Choose Your Car

Driving Options

Transmission : Your Choice
Driving Aids : None
Tires : Racing Medium (really important, the AI must start on RM tires)
Difficulty : 10 for both GT500 and GT300


Quick Tune-Up

Power : Enter The Given Number
Weight : Enter The Given Number
Top Speed : Your choice
Driving Aids : None
Transmission : Your Choice
Tyre Type : Racing
Front Tires : RH, RM, RS
Rear Tires : RH, RM, RS

*RSH and RSS tires are banned this season, a driver getting caught using any of those will get an automatic disqualification for the event*

really hard to win against the AI...

I have a 2nd cousin or someone I've never spoken too. I have a uncle living in Byron bay, that's about the closest...Wait...I mean...I have about 20 very large relatives, who are all members of the Queensland Rifles and Deadly Firearms club....

did my second race last night... going with a crazy setup...

not working

i still hope to have at least one more race, maybe two...

this is only the 10th post... so everybody is keeping secrets...

well, i just hope that for my own mental health, results are up when i wake up monday morning...

No secrets from me...I've had one race, went with a 5-stopper.

Couldn't match my time from last season (no real surprises there). But it wouldn't surprise me to see someone (at least) go faster than that.

Already went for a try. 5 stops but on lap 19, when entering the pits, went straight into the wall; the tyres were already almost red and I didn't count with it.

I'll give it another try tonight. I was going fast on this one....

I went with 4 stops, but think I'll try a 5 and a 3 just for grins. After some practice I can finally get 6 laps with RM's, they're quite red but the faster laps should justify. I can sure feel the extra 30 Kilos I was awarded. The only place I know where you get penalized for going too fast, except on public roads. I got my third speeding ticket in a year last weekend in my 1970 Chevelle. I think the officer just wanted to check out my car, he only gave me a failure to obey a traffic device ticket($75.00) instead of a $144 for doing 53MPH in a 30MPH zone. No more safe driving courses for me, you're allowed 5 in your lifetime so I get points on my license now for any ticket.That raises hell on your insurance.This Chevelle is becomming quite expensive. Anyone want to buy a good used car?

SUZUKA TRIVIA : Built in the 1970's, one of the few figure 8 courses in the world. Plays host to the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix, and is one of the oldest circuits in the Grand Prix tour. Safety has long been an issue there, with several serious injuries and even deaths over the last few years. NASCAR ran there in 1996 and 1997, but have not come back because of the safety issues.Several corners have been redesigned and reprofiled to address these issues.

Great fun to drive, FR, long nose, looks good, sounds good, handles crap if you are honest, fast as buggery!

I've run 127 races, each one faster then the last...

Seriously, I havn't run any yet, I really have to get my arse into gear if I want to send VT down a peg in the championship standings. The reason I havn't been racing is I've been trying to teach various animals to work a DS2, and get a time just slower then mine so VT moves back in the race standings. The problem is, the fastest my dog can get around the race is about 7 minutes slower then I can....He needs more practice, I guess....

90% of current day DVD players are multi-region. If it's what I assume it is, and it a video capture of the races DVD, rather then a DVD with replay files on it. It should work on pretty much any DVD player.

I feel bad just taking things off you! Can I purchase a USB Drive?

Time submitted. I couldn't seem to find the pace I wanted this week, and I lost a few good runs to penalties (the AI seem to brake very early at Suzuka, had a few tailgating moments of sheer terror...aah! he's braking! )

Good luck to everyone! This wraps up the second successful season of JGTC and it just keeps getting better! Thanks to EV4L for putting in the time and effort to build this, and thanks to all the drivers who stuck around, for helping to make this series awesome!

Been an honor once again all. Wish I could run full time in next season, but with my return to the states in May, and down time in May, I have to do the right thing and only run Part-Time this season. Look for a return maybe the following seaon, dependsin gon what happens with some events.

i think i has the wrong strategy with 5 pits... last try i had only 4 pits and could improved 10 seconds if it wasen´t for the mistakes with the hard tires... but it wouldn´t make any difference, so, lets see if i can grab a podium with what i sent.
