JGTC S2 Round 2 Qualif + Results

Teledriel that's really one hell on an improvement for this round. 👍 I bet you don't dislike that 5% weight diet. :sly:
 
WOW ... A 4th and less than .2 to have got a 3rd... 👍 (Hmm both us got a 4th in the respective classes, this week trying to tell the teams something? See at least 3 teams that shared same spot in 500 / 300)

Guess that extra work paid off. Could see sub 23's but lost time on turnabout areas to keep it good.
 
Well I really didn't expect that once again...

But cool just got to practice overtaking for the race and I'll be in with a chance.

LOL ~ Was given a time to shoot for and got at least 1 full second under what I was asked to do. Over all, all my series's this week got better. Been putting alot of track time in recently than I was before, too.

Just lets see if we can keep the run going. 👍 Gratz to all btw!!

@EV4L - You made a mistake in the GT500 results the gap between fasj and casio should be .015 not .150.

Now we have to battle down to the first corner from the front row!
 
Damn, eh. I had the fastest time up to T2, I must've been slow for the last sector. :nervous: Good luck in the race all.

for my part, i´m very happy with the results, i think i extract the most out of my car... counting understear... was a bit hard, but in the end it paid off...

really, it was about making a nice run in MY track, i couldn´t let this chance go by... i tested some cars, and i knew i had some catch up to do, so i did something that might help everyone in the following rounds...

i ran 5 or so laps with those cars: the woodone supra, the RX-8 the RX-7 the takata dome NSX, and the pitwork Z. i realised the RX-7 was a bit faster than the pitwork, so i ran more laps with the car, to set a good ghost...

then, i started to chase that ghost with my car... it really helps... in the end i didn´t pass the ghost, he always had a killer T3, but i stayed close... and i got a good lap...

0´015, that´s just a nose of the car... :drool:

great and tough competition, all those guys in the 1´06-1´07 range you really have to bring your best...

now to the race, the only thing that worries me, is the tire situation...

in my qualify, i ran with RSS/RS

but, in the race, because of the huge front tire wear, i have to run with harder compound in the front, like RH/RM or RM/RS... the complete opposite to my understeary baby... i tested RM/RS and it was not fun, to slow in corners... well, it will be a long race, but i´m sure it will be a fun one!

Sweet. 3rd is good for me, seeing how heavy my car was. :)

I was only able to run my qualifying laps for about an hour before I had to go out of town. I'll have plenty of time to run the race. :D
 
I'm hoping some replays will be up this week so I can see some lines you guys used. This is not a good track for me!?!?!
