Had my first run last night, and I see what everyone is talking about WRT AI. It seems the AI in these fast cars isn't quite sure what to do (admittedly Autumn Ring is more of a club car track, but anyway). They tap the brake in the braking zone and then trailbrake hard into the apex on most turns, which is why they always ram into you from behind if you're doing most of your braking in the proper zone. That Zonda team is gonna get a rude email from my team manager
It does make for some interesting racing. An overtake seems to involve swapping positions several times, almost getting spun out or run off-track by the competitor, and eventually making the pass stick. Lots of fun! A tip for avoiding getting rammed: watch the AI's lines through the turns, for example if you overtake on the main straight, take a tighter line into turn 1 (brake harder down the inside) and the car you passed will generally avoid hitting you from behind, while braking normally to the outside and sweeping into the apex will earn you a Zonda up the butt as he flies into your line at twice the speed
Have fun everyone!
