JGTC S2 Round 2 Race + Results

Race over. 👍 to all.

Congrats to fast6418 for the win in GT500 and to Andge08 in GT300. 👍

hOt6o4bOi and Casio completes the podium in GT500 and ejr_1 and MisterWeary in GT300.

Also 👍 to my teammate for a 5th place finish. Let's work on Round 3 now and try to improve both of our results there and grab some healty pts in the championship. :)

On my side 4th position not bad, I'll take it with a :). Since I only ran once for sure there's an improvement possible and I think the pit strategy I used wasn't all so great in the end.

See you guys on R3. If you don't mind I'll post R3 qualif thread tomorrow (monday) since I'm pretty much dead and must go sleep to wake up early tomorrow.

Knew I needed that 1 hour mark. Just couldn't quite get it. 3 Pit race again for me. Even though it a 7th, it was with in 2 mins of 1st, which for me is a vast improvement. 👍 to all.
 
Wow, I didn't think I'd finish as low as 10th. Two minutes?! :scared: I'll have to race perfectly the rest of the way to even be competitive. I knew those penalties and spins would cost me, but I didn't think it would cost me that much. :( Ah well, bring on the next qualifying session! :D
 
I'm really glad with my 7th place in the first race, within the second best minute.

Special congrats to fast6418 (Parabéns!!!) and to all of those who had to deal with the crazy AI.
 
Nice job Teledriel, sorry I couldn't help you out at all. :(

I knew I would be off the pace this race. I had to do 2 extra stops to everyone, while still running the hardest tyres. I know I'm whingeing, but I feel I have a right. :)

Oh well, bring on Tokyo!

Yikes, I feel sorry for you with your tire situation. I was close to the same schedule as you, I went every 6 laps but on RM's, I hated the RH's.

Here's mine:

Start: RS/RS (Fastest Lap here, 16 second lead on 2nd place car)
Lap 5: RH/RM
Lap 15: RH/RM No Fuel
Lap 25: RH/RM No Fuel
Lap 35: RH/RM No Fuel

Congrats on the podium Casio, I was only able to get one complete run in so no improvement on my time. We both got points for Fastest Laps though. :D

Congratz to everyone else as well.

Here's the pit stop strategy i used

Start on RM/RS Fastest lap on lap 3.
Pit lap 7 - RM/RS
Pit lap 14 - RM/RS
Pit lap 21 - RM/RS
Pit lap 28 - RM/RS
Pit lap 35 - RH/RM

Ran the race three times tried to run RM/RS for the entire race but couldn't fit a pit strategy for that. So that meant i either had to run one stint on RH/RM and have one less pitstop or go with RS/RS and run an extra pit stop. I decided to go with the RH/RM for the last stint and i think it worked out much better.

Oh well now that ejr has a +9% weight penalty for the next race I might be able to catch him again ;)

finally a result i gt4 that i´m proud of...

andrew, we got pole, fastest lap and the win! autumn ring was great for us 👍 👍 👍

last night i was afraid i had wake up the demon (that would be you curtis) so he says he is going to get to my time... so that means my time was really good... its better to win like this... well, all my laps were withim 1 second (with RH) and i had 3 freakin fast laps in the end with RS...

i had 55´26 with 6 pits, then i had a last minute go with 4 pits, using hards...

pitted on laps 10, 20,30and 40

now i´m on a hurry, i´ll get back later to talk more....

Well it wasn't what I had exactly hoped for, but I did get a fast lap which got me an extra point. However, that 0.101 is kinda frustrating!!!

@EV4L....It's still early in the season, but we have some ground to make up now!!! This coming week should be a good week for me, this is my favorite track!!!

HEH - Been through that last season with the same car. Don't worry, it will come off in the end and hopefully win out in points.
