I decided to make a little cleanup in the entrants list and flush the ones who never raced or did something like once. :)

Let's welcome a new driver in GT300 with the Cusco Subaru, EFJ. 👍

Oh and to make a little comparison here is the top 5 in both classes and their respective weight penalty.

so VT is first and has less weight...

hm, i smell trouble...

💡 but somebody should step up and take away some of his points:tup:

please help me jctraduz, appie 17 and driven USA...

curtis, come on, this is a good track for your car! get a win to make a good scramble in this already close championship...

Nevermind, I found an RCA/S-Video to SCART adapter today woohoo  Also found a USB TV tuner...should work fine for plugging my PS2 into my laptop no? Anybody know about this?

It's an external USB tuner with RCA/S-Video inputs...I would think any drivers required for it would be provided, as for the PS2 I would think it's just a PAL signal input...I'm a little wary of buying it though in case it doesn't work.

On the TV front, I got my SCART adapter back home last night only to discover the frikkin' TV remote doesn't have an AV button/channel. Hotels *sigh*

oh god, the car sucks with +6...

really, it changes completely from... lets say +3 to +5

slow and understeary, but i was looking and... everybody will be carrying extra weight by the end of the season, so everybody must be having the same problems...

I really like this track. :)

But really, this post is to clairify what parts of this track are legal. Are the areas outside the white lines with the yellow lines, like at Trial Mountian, part of the track? I don't have a picture on my HD of the areas, but you all know what I am talking about.

I think only those drivers with a +8% or greater weight factor should be allowed to drive in those yellow line areas.

But of course, that's just my opinion (at the moment).

Usually on City courses, everything is in play, just stay off the walls.

After sorting out all my TV problems with the hotel, I had a run last night. I can't recall, but is your Skyline 4WD? I've never liked the 4WD Skylines personally, because they have a serious tendancy to understeer (like most 4WD cars). Anyway, with +5% weight my car is still very driveable at this track, the back kicks 'round nicely, the only thing I need to watch out for is catching the inside rumble strip on the slow corners (turns 4 and 10). The engine and gearing in my baby is mucho goodness :) She is also very stable under rapid direction change (turns 6 & 7 for example). I really like this car :D

I agree, the yellow areas are not out of bounds, although in RL you would likely want to avoid them as they reduce traction, something GT4 doesn't model.

The GT500 Skylines arn't 4WD. I think the only 4WD GT500 car offered was the Impreza Super Touring Car (Which is a steaming pile of ****, worst car in the game).

The only GT300 4WD I believe is the Cusco Subaru.

nope, there are no 4WD cars in the JGTC series (RL) the only model with 4WD is the calsonic skyline ´93. (this car also has 550HP and its a joy to drive)

mine is FR, but drives like a FF.

and yes, i know you like your car zeratul, for some odd reason the early models don´t seem to suffer from understear like the new ones...

time submitted, was nothing spetacular, but since people are carrying a lot of weight, might be good to stay in the middle of the pack

Sorry fasj6418, wasn't trying to brag or anything, just making conversation. I'll shut up about my car :)

If it makes you feel any better, the cheap LCD TV they put in my hotel room doesn't handle high framerates well, so as soon as I get above 80kph the screen starts to flicker badly, and on the main straight it jumps a bit so I see flashes of my dials in the middle of the screen, very distracting :odd:

 i know, i was just once again complaining about mine:D

I really enjoy this track hopefully my qualifying performance was good enough for a top 3.

Time Submitted.

Would have liked another 0.5, but was not to be. Kinda happy with my time, and my huge slide in the tunnel at the start.

Good Luck Everyone 👍

I'm ready to submit, I love this track, hope my time shows it.

Time submitted.

I'm really not sure how I'm going to go in qualifying. I know that I have to do well to try and get the points because the long corners here really tear up my tyres in the race.

But my lap had some nice purple sectors, and when I tried to beat it I could only get to .1 slower. I could probably knock .2 off the time if I got everything perfect but that's it.

Good luck everyone.

Time submitted :)

I was rather distracted this week and didn't have time to do more than one run, so I'm not expecting miracles. Good luck everyone!

I'm still sulking about my weight, but maybe that will inspire me in the race. Whether or not inspiration will make up for anything, who knows?

Time submitted.Pretty happy , doubt it's podium fast. Bring on the main event, and make it long!
Good Luck everyone.
Taz, you are looking a bit portly, but still a threat!!

Hey guys :) Little question that I never asked but how old is everyone in here participating in the JGTC series? I'd like to know the age category that the JGTC is attracting, just to know who am I targetting exactly. Since the start of this ride I've seen alot of good sportmanship and respect between the drivers and that shows a great level of maturity.

Well I guess I'll go first and say that I'm 21. :sly: If some have pictures you can put one up, would be great to finally match a face with a gtp username. 👍

There, my time is in. I really enjoy this track. I think my time is quick, since I cannot find any more time on the track, or speed out of the car. :)

And since you asked, I am 18 (as of 3 days ago), and live in Sydney. NOT AUSTRALIA, but Canada :). You know, the one with the infamous "Tar Ponds"(perhaps you don't, but w/e).
