JGTC S2 Teams & Car Draft Thread

I did a 20 lapper of Hong Kong and a 10 lapper of Apricot Hill. Just to get my grove.

However, before we picked I did have a drive of the Impreza Super Touring Car. That thing is the worst car I have ever driven. It has understeer unlike anything you have ever driven, and with 4WD I'm sure the tyre wear would be pretty awful.

Yup VTRacing, I also tested the RX-8 and the RX-7. RX-8 was slower but easier to drive fast than the RX-7, the RX-7 was alot more unstable under braking and more of a violent and aggressive type of driving to the opposite of the smooth and calm ride in the RX-8. RX-8 will pack up more power than the RX-7 anyway with the stat correction that will take place so you should be ok. :sly:

Hey guys, sorry for the delay. The problem is that I don't know the GT500 cars very well, I haven't unlocked too many of them (haven't had much time to play over the last couple of months), and to top it off my DFP is in the shop so I couldn't really test out handling on those I HAVE unlocked :grumpy:

Anyway, I couldn't find the NISSAN 350Z CONCEPT LM RACE CAR '02, but only the NISSAN FAIRLADY Z CONCEPT LM RACE CAR '02...at 600+ bhp I'm not sure if this is the same car?!? Anyway, if the Fairlady Z Concept is the right car, I'll take it, otherwise I'll take the NISSAN PENNZOIL ZEXEL GT-R '01 (how come the NISSAN PENNZOIL NISMO GT-R wasn't on the list?), since it's the only other car I have, that isn't taken, and that doesn't suck (I hate Supras).

Now I just hope I don't get a nasty surprise when I drive my chosen car with my DFP when it comes back :nervous:

As for numbers, just to speed things along, I'd like #89 same as last season, if I have the choice.

That's a great car if it's the one I'm thinking of. (The Burgundy and Blue one). I won the GT World series in that by ONE POINT.

The NISSAN Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car '02 I believe is the ONLY Concept 350Z in the game.

Ummm, just had a look around and saw that EatsViper4Lunch intended for the season to start on the 3rd of October, which for me is TOMORROW! Everybody hasn't even picked their car yet. Hurry up guys, it's not good enough, you've had almost a week to do it. We don't want to see this fantastic series gone.

NISSAN 350Z CONCEPT LM RACE CAR '02 = 350Z like the MOTUL PITWORK Z '04
NISSAN (GT-R) FAIRLADY Z CONCEPT LM RACE CAR '02 = Skyline like the XANAVI NISMO GT-R '03

The one allowed this season is the 350Z Concept with the stock specs of 500hp and 1120kg. So I'll give you your second choice with the NISSAN PENNZOIL ZEXEL GT-R '01.
