4 races to go... only one bad track for my car... i hope i can make a move now...

somebody has to fight against those mazdas... lets go nissans, hondas and toyotas!

would be nice to see the schedule until the end... because from what i remember, SSR5 would be round 7, but instead, it is motegi...

i might be a little:dunce: so i think it would be nice to know if the final rounds are

Suzuka

in this order... i know the tracks, just don´t know which one will be the season finale... i hope its suzuka, technical and a real track... but lets wait to see what viper says...

I think it's fair. It's only really bad at tracks like Tokyo or HSR. Even at Motegi, it was only the last corner that I lost time on, so it wasn't at a disavantage on the straights.

10 points andge, 10! I'm coming for ya. Let's get it on!
 
Yes, it's interesting that Andge08 and ejr_1 both have 51 points earned from races, but Andge pulls ahead mostly from his 11 qual points to ejr's 1 third place qual (Round 2, Autumn Ring). Two additional points are earned by fast race laps (Andge: 4, ejr: 2).

Top props to Andge for maintaining the GT300 qual points lead, thus far. He's clearly a very precise driver. And, of course, VTRacing has totally dominated GT500 quals with pole position in four of seven events.

The interesting part is that one of these qual point leaders has the most powerful car while the other has the least powerful. Scoring seems to depend more on the driver (and possibly car handling characteristics) than raw power or even P/W.

Woohoo :cheers: Four of my favorite tracks to finish off the season! SSR5 is gonna be interesting with these power machines, I would imagine very hard on the tires and brakes...pity they didn't simulate brake wear in GT4, that would've been fun :)

Why do you assume we'll pass you? :odd: I for one seem to be all over the place in the rankings this season, one race will be good, the next I'll place 6th or something.

its the weight. skylines + added weight = angry and hopeless driver

i say i don´t feel positive about the finish because only suzuka suits my car... and god knows what weight i will carry to the last round...

Well don't pull a hotboi and give up ;) You never know what can happen! Ask DRIVEN USA about last season's finale :grumpy: ;)
 
oh, no, i´m not pulling out...

right now i´m doing a little math to see what would be the best way to get to suzuka at +2 or +3...

you will notice that skylines (at least mine) can´t be competitive with more than 4 on the weight...

Actually I think this is the first time I've been above +2 all season :lol:

very hard to finish in the podium with a fat car... casio finished twice with +5, and hotboi finished once with +5 and one time with +9... all of those happened in fast tracks... but in a tight course, if you have weight, you´re dead:crazy:

Then the problem is, like I found, that getting on the podium when you're around the +5/+6 mark, you end up the next race at around +8/+10. Since not as many people enter as the start of the season, you might run really poorly and only end up back at +5/+7.

You really need to start the season well
